Sounds fine to me. I just bought one . I've been using the Shure sm58 and my old Sennheiser 431 that I just noticed has a dent in it from one of the times it was dropped. I'll be interested to see if I think my voice sounds any better using this. I'm just hoping for a slight improvement.

What mic do you recommend for a more baritone voice?

That's difficult to say without testing it with that particular voice. I am looking to do some mic shootouts with different singers in the future, so I will look at finding a baritone to help with this question. In saying all that, the TLM 102 is a great detailed neutral mic. I have never had a moment where it sounds bad. I hope this helps.

Personally think this is one of the most overrated microphones for the price. It very “chunky” sounding and the top end is very harsh and pointy sounding. It also is less sensitive then most condensers. I use about 8-10db more gain than on any other mic

I own this mic and have used many exspensive mics, and this is one of the best mics ever. You dont know santino.

@@John-e4p1x I own a u87 and have owned many high end mics. Definitely far from one of the best mics. U87 takes eq amazingly. Tlm102 is dark sounding and needs more gain than a condenser usually does.
