Hi Dr. Sven, thank you very much for uploading these lectures. I am a MSK radiologist, and I have learned a lot of neuroradiology by watching your lectures. Your neuroradiology lectures are one of the best available on KZbin.

Hello Wanted to ask whether youre planning to do the brain perfusion video for pre and post surgery/treatment tumor evaluation?

I'm currently preparing a series of classes providing an introduction to neuroradiology for speech therapy and audiology students, so the next couple of weeks don't see myself doing anything, but average male life expectancy is 80 or so, so I've still got 40 years to cover it :)

Good evening, doctor. What will be the subject of the next lectures and when should I reserve time to study? Best regards
@theneuroradiologist3 ай бұрын
honestly don't know yet, I'm always working on several things at the same time and switch back and forth continuously, I never know what will be finished first, all depends on the mood I'm in and deadlines I encounter for my classes....

Can the signal through the auditory cortex bypass the auditory center to the motor center when surprised?
@theneuroradiologist2 ай бұрын
that's a very specific question to which I don't know the answer. I do think that we shouldn't interpret the whole connectionism model too literally though. It's a good framework and our language areas are definitely located in the perisylvian area of the dominant hemisphere and connected by way of the arcuate fasciculus (white other white matter tracts probaby also contributing to the language network) but the exact way by which auditory speech stimulate are recognized, evaluated and transmitted by the brain still remains a bit of an approximation with many unanswered questions.
