I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS VIDEO!! I love the thought of Acus making a machine to compete with other top brands that is still adjustable stroke and affordable but very high quality and not so difficult to use. It gets people that use the wands or other machines to still have what they’re used to with a machine that you can actually clean better by still taking it fully apart while hopefully leading them to the M1. I think this was a really great move for Acus in becoming a leading standard in tattoo machines. I absolutely love all the stuff this company is doing and the stuff they come up with! Thank you for this video man! You have to be a top tattoo channel soon because you always keep it real!

Hi ! I always heard that brushless motors are more powerful than brushed one, am I wrong ? Because it seems you to say the opposite, I m confused right now 😅
@adamdarklordАй бұрын
Brushless motors are generally stronger and more efficient than brushed motors. Here’s a comparison: 1. Efficiency and Power Output: • Brushless Motors: Offer higher efficiency and produce more power output for the same amount of input energy due to the lack of friction and voltage drop from brushes. • Brushed Motors: Have lower efficiency due to friction and heat generated by the brushes. 2. Durability and Maintenance: • Brushless Motors: No brushes to wear out, so they have a longer lifespan and require less maintenance. • Brushed Motors: Brushes wear out over time and need to be replaced, leading to more maintenance. 3. Speed and Control: • Brushless Motors: Provide smoother speed control and can achieve higher RPMs, making them better for high-performance applications. • Brushed Motors: Limited by the mechanical friction of brushes and less precise control. 4. Torque: • Brushless Motors: Can deliver higher torque at lower speeds and maintain consistent performance under load. • Brushed Motors: May struggle with maintaining torque at lower speeds. Overall, brushless motors are typically the stronger choice in terms of performance and longevity. However, brushed motors can still be advantageous in applications where cost and simplicity are prioritized. A brushed motor can still be very strong depending on how big it is. I still believe this motor is a brushless motor in this machine. Even though a brushed motor would be more cost effective at the $400 price point.

@@AlexandrosNikolakis I have all the bishop wands and the acus m1 and I’ll tell you I think already the m1 is better than the wands but I thinks even the m2 will still be better than the wands. So I see a good idea, but I don't understand why so many brands use this engine. It was already in the Ambition Torped, in the X8, Archer 2 S, P3 Pro Turbo... I think it's good but this engine costs 25 dollars in its original form...
@adamdarklordАй бұрын
It’s definitely different in size and shape from the turbo. It’s the same type of motor as it’s most likely an external brushless motor but I don’t thinks it’s the same as the machines you listed. We should know more about it soon
@siliconvalleymetalАй бұрын
If you compare the torped to the ambition soldier 270 which is their latest one the motor looks the same but the performance is way different. Windings can be different and the main thing is the motor driver which is way different. I’m gonna take a wild guess and assume this Acus is using the same motor and driver as the latest Ambition soldier 270 which has a lot of torque and can run as slow as 3 hits a second. Windings and drivers play the biggest role and cost goes up when you use a high performance driver.

Brushless motors last for 5k hours. It would be nice for KZbin tattooists to start using propre barrier on their machines. This is so gross to see only cohesive bandage in 2024
@adamdarklord28 күн бұрын
Most brushless motors can last between 10,000 and 50,000 hours if they’re not under constant stress, while lower-end brushless motors may only last around 5,000 hours when regularly pushed to their limits. So, you’re not wrong. I’m guessing he wrapped it like that to make it easier to open up during the tattoo livestream and show us the inside. But then again, it could also just be a gross habit.
@Vladfaitdestattoos28 күн бұрын
@@adamdarklord 10000 hours would last 5 years on a 8 hours, 5 days a week, no holyday basis. Here’s the translation: n practice, we’re looking at around 2,000 to 5,000 hours, considering the membrane tension, the stress caused by the cam, and mechanical action. At least, that’s what we can expect from the Faulhaber 6031, which equips Bishop wand packer and liner for instance. Tho someone working extensively with 3rl might make it last longer than color worker using 23+ mags Let’s be honest, we are one of the few professions where people complain about having a machine that costs 300-1,500, which allows us to charge between 300 and 1,500 per day. I don’t know of any profession that amortizes its equipment as quickly. That said, let’s not deny that when we see how the big brands treat their customers, I understand why some people prefer to buy cheap Chinese products. Maybe there needs to be a reassessment within the industry.
