@8:33 that chess match is called footsie my guy. you are in both in what is referred to as nuetral, both jockeying for an advantage to press. this is basic fighting game terms. and as different or more complicaed the systems and mechanics in this game may seem from the more traditionally thought of or recognized fighting games. just started learning this game on friday, love the info you dropped, MAD helpful!! you should record a few ranked matches sometime and do a commentary breaking down the ins & outs, thought process, opponent habits etc, also i wanna know more about stamina break and if the different races come with different types of combos n jit like that from YOU 😅

Tip for beginners, Complete the Skill test to get Potential unleashed and also complete the tests of Elder kai who can be found in front of orange star high school, you will also get a Achievement Trophy after completeing all the elder kai's test, you will learn most of the basic stuff there so do complete all of them and try to get atleast S rank in all of them which might require you to do them 2 or 3 times but it will help you learn. Then head to PvE matches and Fight Goku SSG, SSB, SS4 GOKU bcoz these are one of the best Computer(AI) fighthers and set the level of AI to max when you enter the match. You can also practise different skills there.

U got to play passive aggressive against those types of players. Let them come to u and try to counter them by going around them when they snap vanish near u. Takes some practice but you’ll get there💯

I am always having a hard time doing the triangle and circle stamina break but time easier to do combo stamina break, like why?

It’s probably because your not fully familiar with the combo strings needed to land them. For most characters x five times is the light stamina break combo. For the Y/Triangle stamina break it’s usually a different combo string💯

@@Dztroyer no, that's not the problem, I get the *combos for stamina break* just fine but not the *regular knockback stamina break* that involves Y-B(xbox)/ Y-O(ps4) plus A(xbox)/O(ps4)+analog sticks↔️, I fail at that more than the combos.

It’s called ki canceling. It for the purpose of recovering faster after your opponent vanishes behind you so that you can prevent yourself from getting hit quicker that you would if u didn’t ki cancel after your opponent vanished behind u.
