I actually really like the idea of Punk and FTR having each others backs. I don't really want them to be a stable per say because there's to many stables in AEW in my opinion, but it would be cool to have them watching each other's backs. Plus that GTS into the Big Rig is a pretty cool trios finishing move. Also why do I feel like The Acclaimed are almost more face than they are heel lmfao.

The Acclaimed have been over af for a while now. I remember not caring for them at all when I first saw them and now I always look forward to seeing them. Solid on the mic and in the ring, got charisma, and always gets the crowd roaring. Even with the Ass Boys their stuff is entertaining despite being thrown together abruptly

@@johnnymorningstar2855 Oh yeah no doubt, and I'm starting to wonder if they paired them together so that the running joke of the "Ass Boys" nickname is a way to set up them up for a face turn by having the heels(Guns) jump them out of frustration over the nickname. Then with the crowd firmly behind them have them feud because at that point they would already be faces because of how over they are. It's a easy way to turn them, and then when the feud between The Acclaimed and the Guns is over you and push them into a position to be a top face tag team. They've earned it for sure, it's clear how over they are, and they are absolute gold on the mic and in the ring and should win the tag titles at some point in the future.

Really feels like AEW is in a new era, really can't tell where this is all goung, and it's great. The unpredictability gives me old school wrestling vibes, like I can't wait for the next episode of a weekly drama, but with interesting, genuine emotion and more modern characters.

First of I’d like to point out I’m a huge AEW and CM Punk fan, but THIS in my opinion was the downfall of CM Punk. The stage dive that lead to his foot injury forced him to vacate the title and sit at home rehabbing. Said he was stuck in his bed for two weeks. I think he sat and stewed over what Hangman said in that no infamous promo. A promo that didn’t seem noteworthy to most and honestly I don’t think it did to Punk immediately following it…but while he sat at home he got mad and he carried it with him until he came back. My whole point being, I don’t think if he gets injured here, Brawl Out happens. I think you could even make a case that maybe if he doesn’t injure his tricep in his match with John Moxley, he doesn’t come into that press junket as mad. It’s the injury at this show that started the downfall though. Getting injured the first show after winning the world championship and finally getting to do the summer of Punk right…..and he gets hurt on a stage dive. I’m not saying things would have played out differently for sure or that he’d still be with AEW. But when people discuss his return to wrestling and this run, they rarely bring this moment up. His frustration with his injuries and his return to the top not going as planned made Phil lash out. The Punk we got before and after this injury feel like two different people to me. I hope the person we saw in the first half wasn’t an act, but with him it is always hard to know. What I do know is that this is the night the cracks started to show
