Boxbox complaining about not being able to opt in to chasing traits that need a tome to get is so funny…that’s exactly what legends (urf) did and people complained about legends incessantly and it ruined the meta at the end of 9.5

He's specifically talking about Country. It's the only big vertical this set that doesn't have a craft-able emblem. At least the other trees, if you get a spat drop, you can plan ahead, but to play 7 Country right now, you either have to get a tome drop or commit to it the entire game and then pray you see the emblem at 6-4. It's also only a gold chase trait so it's not even that strong.

Being able to do something every single game (legends) and being able to do it at all are very different things. Calling it now this is going to be like set 8 and everyone's going to get board af because the best comp is full 2 star legendary board and the best way to play is whatever gets you to that board faster than your opponents. Even craftable traits are so unrealistic you'll never see them if you're playing casually. Spat is 1% on draft and neutrals, all the would be vertical comps require 2 for their chase. It's a terrible decision to get rid of trait augs IMO.

I had this video playing in the background while playing PBE. And not long after BoxBox talked about 7 Country I managed to hit it with an emblem on 6-4 carousel. Though I'm pretty sure I would have won that game anyway with 3 Star samira and Katarina.

First 6.5m in and BB is wrong about two things. Once you have a headliner, one will show up every 4 re-rolls and spats CAN show up in carousel still. You can play PBE to see right now.

I got a three star Ahri and lost to a team of 3* Guardians with a 3* Jinx and 2* Jhin. She didn't have bluebuff so even with JGaunt,GSlayer,GBld she took way way to long to kill those tanks.

can someone explain the augment when you reach lvl 9 gain 50 xp? like isnt lvl 9 the max?

new leveling system. changed some of the odds for each level and made the max level 10

They changed levels quite a bit. Max is 10. It is easier to hit 7, 8, 9 (all exp breakpoints lowered) (80 exp to hit 10 i believe). Also the chances for 4cost & 5cost are lower for those levels. To sum up, you can slot in more units, but wont hit higher costs often (but lvl7 is really good for 3costs)
