After a couple of years dealing with washouts in the back yard I had drain lines put in. Since the yard was pretty torn up I started researching my options for reestablishing a lawn. After literally hours of videos here on KZbin I happened across the name Jonathan Green. This name caught my attention because it’s literally my uncle’s name though I’m pretty sure there’s no relation. Since the types of grass seed that’s used in this formulation is well suited for my zone 6 area in the mountains of North Carolina I decided to give it a shot. I couldn’t be happier with the results. This program is helping me achieve, over time, the kind of thick, lush and healthy lawn I remember from my youth. This grass will be the grass I use from here on out.

I have a 2-acre yard with the house on a slight hill with a pond at the bottom of it and we'll be doing a complete lawn renovation. This is a great overview of a complete natural plan. I didn't want all the synthetic runoff going into the pond so this sounds like a great option

Thanks for the video! I’m in the northeast but my PH is 7.2. Do I need to do anything or should I leave it alone? Thanks!

Hello! 7.2 Is pretty good. If you test it again and its any higher we recommend applying Mag-i-cal Plus for Lawns in Alkaline and Hard Soil.

I have question, I live in Hardiness Zones 6a/6b in Hunterdon County New Jersey. I have a bare spot over my septic sand mound. I want to plant grass on top of my septic sand mound, and I'd like to use Black Beauty, but I am worried if I plant grass seeds with 3 feet roots it will grow into my septic mound and possibly cause damage to my septic system. What can I do to get rid of this bald spot on my front lawn?
