You know, if Respawn and EA actually fixed, or was actively fixing, cheaters, and fixed SBMM for good, the community would not give a rats about skins or how much they charge or anything. Cheaters and sbmm is what will untimely doom apex. New people arent coming to apex. Very low tier casual can't even enjoy the game. Hell I'm experienced, but not sweaty, and im frustrated with getting into the top tier lobbies.

Yeah, it will be a disapointment, why is it locked to your BR rank? I don't want to play BR and that means I have to be in a garbage Gold Leaderboard? Make it a brand new mode with a point system and caps towards pred for all platforms, no limit on the amount of matches you can play either, limiting it makes it more common for people to cheat.

It actually could be potentially a game changer for solo queue ranked players who can't compete with pre-made 3 stacks. Time will show.

I think ranked rumble is a good idea if done well. It would also be nice to have it as a gamemode or something similar to practice against people your rank. It would also help with pubs by making it more for casuals

Something has been on my mind for quite some time now. I see a lot of trailers for a movie called Dust, and in it. You can see what's clearly an Apex legends Wingman. I don't know if it was given to them from a scrapped Apex legends show or what… but you really need to look for an opportunity to bring that up.

why do you suspect ranked rumble would have the same issues? im pretty sure ranked being gone and forced solo solve's the issues of the previous rumble entirely. cheaters soloing are going to have to cheat harder and risk being detected and reported by their randoms.

I actually do think this is actually quite a smart move because what this is going to mean is they're actually doing tests the way I see it. They're actually trying to do a test which is basically going to see. See if your stats are going to match up with the rank that you got cuz if you're dropping 12, 13 14 kills in a game but you're losing more games than you are getting kills or you're making all that that damage getting all those things but you're not making it into like diamond Masters or pred likely chances they are going to do an investigation. To be fair, they need to do an investigation for majority of the preds on console, majority of the Masters on console and and a few majority of the diamonds on console. Cuz basically what it's going they're going to see is if you're killing people like Masters kill people and you're having stats that are above those people. But you only made it to Platte gold diamond silver. They're going to do an evaluation which will basically give them the information that they need to really tell who's actually cheating and if that's the plan that that's behind this, I'm not an objection to this event. Which is actually a smart move and if you think about the havoc and the collection event, everybody complaining about that. And my first thought was what if they actually did that so that people would be less likely to buy it so that EA would actually be forced to allow the developers to actually do something about the game. Which means that both of these moves are really freaking smart smart enough to outsmart EA at their own game.

Cheaters are going to boost there way to top of leaderboard again. Hopefully Respawn have do this to trap all the cheaters in one spot. Then ban all of them before the new season begins.
