It sounds nice and built quality looks great. It's basically axle-back + x-pipe to replace the rear resonator. AWE midpipe just replaces the front resonator in addition to that. All other midpipes replace both resonators and secondary cats. My favorite sound is still the VT single midpipe.

Thank you ! You can most likely use some hand polish and there's a small hand polisher pad you can use also. Depending on how swirled up will dictate the level of thr polish and pad.

Do any cuts needs to be made to install the exhaust if you’re going to be running stock mid pipes?

Yes if you plan on installing this exhaust with the stock mid, you're going to need to cut the stock midpipe. There's instructions when you purchase this exhaust that will pin point where the cuts need to be.

I honestly wouldn't know since there so many different exhaust out there but is there any reason why you wouldn't want to cut into the factory exhaust?

It sounds okay. I think the midpipe will make it sound way better. I'm not so sure this sounds much different than stock aside from the louder burbles to justify doing it without the midpipe but I understand why some might due to regulations, etc...

Any exhaust modification will amplify the level of sound in the cabin. There's no Drone but also everyone has their own definition of Drone. This exhaust has a good balance

I have this on my F80 best exhaust for the M3. Not sure if you have a downpipe but that sound is very underwhelming on your G80 ...need to go full catback and DP. If you like sound this is a waste without dp and full catback imo.

This setup uses the stock midpipe and its definitely a bit quiet for my taste. I've processed from this setup which you'll see in newer videos. Which sound incredible even with a high flow catted downpipe
