As for the ult counter, they could definitely do the transition into the impact frames better, but as fir ghe actual animation itself, the reason it's so simple is because your character model is actually moving SO FAST that you can't see them actually winding up for another uppercut, giving the illusion of not having moved.

The 20 blows counter was meant to be him doing the squats motion into a double fist upper But since he's in "turbo" mode he's so fast that you only see him standing still Though i can very agree that the move could've been adapted better, for example: The first squat is in slow motion with afterimage following the squat motion with each squats you can clearly see it's a squats with each hit from the upper ramping in speed until it's unnoticeable that he's doing squats like the old animation
