You can just use the same ditto build for Hoenn, no need to adjust it all you need to do is remove the silk scarf and give it a chesto berry, it will be pain if you need to adjust for hoenn and for johto all the time.

A good video idea would be to make a pros/cons comparison between each ditto catching strategies. I feel this strategy is a little too picky on how specific the vaporeon has to be. I prefer Fortress strat, but either way this was a really good video

just caught a shiny ditto today at the johto spot on my alt account! my first single encounter shiny and one of the two shinies i wanted there (the other being miltank).

Just to precise, you don't need to make 108 ATK EVs vaporeons. I'm catching dittos with 252 atk vaporeons, and after catching 4 boxes at hoenn (with silk scarf), ive only killed like 5 dittos. On the johto spot, i simply remove silk scarf and up till now (only 1 and a half box caught), i killed 0 ditto

244 Atk, 252 Sp. Atk, 14 Speed. 31 Atk iv, 0 def & whatever for other Ivs. Held item chesto berry. Try this bro, will NEVER kill unless crit. Use double vapo for the double ditto battles and use water move on your own vapo so you don’t kill ditto on second turn.

You just can use the exact same vapo as hoenn just without silk scarf it will rarely only put the ditto to yellow hp which should still be a catch most of the time, also just pp max yawn I would say because it then has 16 pp and payday already has 20 and you wont use payday more often than you will use yawn

I like this method's concept, but having the chance to crit a ditto is bad In my opinon. What if I crit idk a 2x31 IV. It's just a personal opinion but I prefere fortress method over this

270k mailed is literally more expensive than if you just bought them off the GTL. If anyone is buying for that price they have a fundamental misunderstanding of why ditto boxes exist and are uninformed. If your selling for that price and people are buying than ur a salesman giga chad and i respect you.

The vaporeon strategy was popularized around 6 months ago due to alice thankfully! But even then its not as widespread as the hardcore players realize and people are always slow to adgust (me included haha) and most players don't realize tht johto is probably just better to hunt in VS hoenn atm. And ive seen no guides personally of people combining these 2 strats that are still new/unknown to probably 90% of the community. Just my opinion, but i feel like hardcore players forget what the average players experience looks like. I try REALLY hard to keep tht perspective and still could improve a lot!
