Thanks for video I just moved to Denver. I don't know how dated this list is but it's very helpful

Thanks for watching! It’s a little dated now, but the good spots are still good 😀 I’ve got a bunch of newer ones on my channel covering some of the new stuff!

I’m like 4 restaurants in and you’ve already earned a Super Thanks. I’m now psyched to visit! Random question for you: I’m mainly interested in getting a feel for the culture and social climates in the state. What are a couple cities/towns you’d recommend visiting? (Anywhere in CO, distance isn’t an issue.)
@davechung Жыл бұрын
Thank you so much, AN! Such a great question. I think many people would immediately say Boulder and Colorado Springs, just because they’re so different on the social climate front (and they are!). Outside of the ski towns, it might also be interesting for you to check out some towns that people road trip to, like Steamboat Springs and Telluride to see if that type of getaway fits your lifestyle. You probably saw that a lot of the restaurants in this video are in Aurora, which is the most diverse city in Colorado.

Bookmarked this video and subscribing for more read-up's for a January trip to Fort Collins. Would you happen to have another video on weather tips from someone coming from Hawaii? My son goes to school in Fort Collins and this is my first time visiting Denver/FC in January. Mahalo! Our flight will touch down late morning, your recommendation of one of the Korea hotpot places sounds very promising.
@davechung2 жыл бұрын
Awesome! It’ll be a very big weather and altitude change for sure. I don’t have one specific to Hawaii visitors, but I do have a lot of videos for “Things to know before visiting Denver” and “6 big mistakes people make when visiting Denver for the first time” that I think will help a lot! I’d consider taking the first day a little easy to give yourself a little time to adjust to the altitude (big difference), but I really hope you have a great time here!

Thoughts on Jinya for Ramen in comparison to the ones you mentioned? (If youve been)
@davechung2 ай бұрын
I really like Jinya! Even though it’s a chain, it’s one of the good ones. I think it’s a Top 5 ramen spot in the area, and one of the restaurants I hit before Nuggets games.

We are going in November over the thanksgiving holiday. Any suggestions of places that are open on thanksgiving?
@davechung2 жыл бұрын
Awesome! I hope you have a great trip! You’ll want to call ahead to be sure. There are for sure some steakhouses and Asian restaurants open on Thanksgiving, but it’s a good idea to call to check, especially because of recent staffing shortages.

There are two Brazilian steak houses in Denver. We will be in Denver for very short time and want to try one of the Brazilian steakhouse. Which one would you recommend if any?
@davechung Жыл бұрын
Oooh I love a good Brazilian steakhouse. I’m guessing you’re choosing between Fogo and Rodizio. Even though there are Fogo locations elsewhere, I’d still do it or Texas de Brazil over Rodizio if I was to choose just one.
