Makes me so happy watching you play crypto this way. I’ve been screaming out for it for ages, so many people don’t understand you don’t have to just sit in your drone and can play aggressively 😅 Also good tip is to try play crypto with wraith, pathfinder or octane. Have you teammates set you a portal, rope or jump pad before you EMP so that way you can maximise on your push off it. Hope this helps anyone reading

Crypto the most underrated legend. Teammates need to understand his abilities. Don’t push without drone or EMP. Use the beacons. Let crypto scan the banners CONSTANTLY to id teams around you. Late game especially the drone is just cracked, totally OP. Biggest prob playing crypto is teammates don’t know how to have patience to use his abilities.

Crypto can do some crazy stuff. It's just that it is a knife's edge balance to play him and not leave your team one man short.

The best update thats happened to Crypto is the ability to throw out your drone and then Heal. So you can basically be in your drone while hitting a bat or whatever you need.

Showing Crypto the love he needs. Hes more of a ranked meta legend for sure. If you do want to use him in ranked, i would highly suggest anyone in the skirmisher class (with the exception of Revenant) to get you to the fights once you use your EMP. Being left behind as Crypto is the biggest struggle with the legend.

The drone in the window trick is something I did a while back and nobody noticed it. I was the first one to put the drone on control in lava syphon on b then everyone started doing it. There are alot of windows spots you gotta see for yourself.

I play almost exclusively duos with one friend who has mained Crypto for the last c. 3 years (so he's smth like top 0.1% Crypto players in terms of kills - over 10k). Over time we've worked out so many different combos and tricks (he EMPs, we pad in; he EMPs, I cut off the escape with Bang ult; ambushes behind corners; etc.) - the legend is so versatile and symbiotic with a lot of different legends, but it only works if the *other* teammate(s) you're playing with also know how to play to his strengths.

I made pred using crypto, my team had made it pretty popular to pair crypto with octane and rev. You’d rev ult, octane pad, and then crypto ult. Guaranteed easy dubs even against pred players. That’s a very combo for anyone to stop. Now with the new rev update tho, it gives a little more flex for other characters to fill in revs old spot
