I think to get into reverse you pull the trigger and then downshift or atleast thats how it works on real cars

You Can use Both of them as handbrake . In Truck sim it‘s a Button press in Setting . Also in Moza pithouse you can Switch the moza Handbrake to Button or axis Mode ..

shifting is to loud that might be the nature of the shifter but "deal breaker" for people that needs silent in house

True! It’s a lot louder in the video than in real life but there’s still other shifters that are quieter
