To be completely honest I was really excited to see this perk on the roadmap because I felt it had some great potential and fun usage, but seeing that this is the change is a little disappointing. It doesn't seem anywhere near as strong as perks with the same restrictions like DS and OTR so I don't really understand why they restricted it as such. At least before you could use it whenever you wanted at anytime once you met the requirements (as strict as they were), but now you have a minute after being unhooked to use it and it gets deactivated whenever you do a conspicuous action or when the gates are powered (WHY?!). Just kind of a shame that it got restricted into being an anti-tunnel perk despite it having potential to be so much more. Maybe my opinion will change after using it, but first impressions are kinda meh. All that to say, I feel like it could still be fun, but the value might be a little forced like in the Artist game where he just waited for the artist to chase him so he could use it rather than doing anything else. It might be good combined with 2 exhaustion perks like Dead Hard and Balanced Landing so that you can use both without the killer expecting it.

Totally. I don't really understand why he says it's strong and he wouldn't be surprised if it gets nerfed seeing how very little actual use you get from it... It's a pure anti-tunnelling perk, but the other anti-tunnelling perks (DS, OTR, DH) are so much better at denying tunnelling. The only good use of it I can see as an anti-tunnelling perk is to combo it with DH and another exhaustion perk like Lithe or BL, like you said. So you can use both DH to shield yourself from a hit and the speed boost exhaustion perk to make even more distance.

Yeah I was excited at first, but after trying it, it seems kinda bad. Using Sprint burst twice feels less impactful than hitting the killer with DS or getting 3 amazing effects from OTR

@@jcastYT OTR is more versatile since it lasts longer and you can heal at hook with the potential of the killer coming back in which case you would have three hits in a chase before going down which I think would waste a lot of time. And I’d say DS wastes more time too because they have to go through the recovery and pick up animation and then get stunned as well.

@@austin7 i think dead hard for distance, aka sprint burst+blood rush is way stronger. you get strongest exhaust perk in the entire game for being tunneled. sprint burst now is best exhaustion perk in the game. the main thing that held it back was inability to 99% sprint burst without wasting time. now it is 99% on demand.

tired of perks deactivating with conspicuous actions. i mean can we please skillfully time our perks when we need them and not be confined to using these perks ONLY when getting tunneled or trying to be killer bait. seriously... cant heal, cant gen, cant do anything. really need to change these perks deactivating. also, you lose a crap ton of perks in the end game.... seriously what is this sht?... meanwhile... killers keep power creeping the last and every killer comes with anti-loop, projectiles, and massive gap closing..

Hate to be the one to tell you guys. But there is no meta builds for survivor's only killers. The current killer "meta" Is pop,BBQ and chillie ,no where to hide and scourge. Recommend. Residual manifest , blast mine ,over come , breakdown. Don't need 10000 hours of gameplay to figure out what counters killers just need common sense

@ThatKidWolfy okay, but with ds, you have to be on the ground or in a locker to get value. It's much more preferable to extend the chase while also not getting downed or forcing a hook. And a killer can't really wait out your blood rush since you can use it whenever you want. Ds, on the other hand, lacks in about all of the fields bloodrush covers. I can see it being run more than ds without a doubt. Probably together, until people realize it's not necessary.
