I’m two years late but the reason the Bees aggro-ed him is because he’s on the Picnic table. They aggro you only if you are on the picnic table or you hit them anywhere else. (And in 1.4 if you are wearing the Bard’s Tudor)

Everytime I see ants in this game I remeber a glitch that happend , a KZbinr found a ant Nest and some bugs hade got in and killed ALL of the ants the ants that were left hade like No health at all 😂 so THEY COULD JUST COLLECT EVERY ANT
