And I'm sure there are many who agree with you. Why has the programming at cineplexes gotten so bad? Surely they have lost portions of their potential filmgoing audience because everything is geared to the tastes of 16 year olds. Too bad-even the programming at former "art house" theatres is becoming more mainstream. The only was to see art house cinema is basically on your screen at home or in festivals-and not everybody can travel to a festival...the cost of hotel rooms, airfare etc. A film in a foreign language with no stars? Dream on.
