Did you know that in the beginning of his restaurant career that Colonel Sanders didn't serve fried chicken on the menu? Back in the old days, it took way to long to cook the chicken and he didn't want to have to cook that during the lunch rush hours. He was operating his own restaurant that also had a gas station. Eventually a salesperson shows up at his business and shows him some new type of cooking appliance called the pressure cooker (new back then). Sanders wondered if he could put some cooking oil in one and cook chicken in less time and he tried it out with it being a huge success. It could cook up some tasty, crispy chicken that was tender and juicy on the inside, in a fraction of the time it would normally take. So that was when his chicken franchise began.

Shiro McFeely Colonel Sanders sold his restaurant in 1964 for 2 million because it was so popular. and by the 70s he went into a KFC and said it was one of the worst fried chicken he had ever seen and that the gravy was like wall paste and the mashed potatoes were disgusting etc.... I guess he had a higher restaurant quality to his food and when it was sold it became more mass produced and fake .

I'm not a fan of Tall food, I think its part of an agenda to get people to take larger bites thus consuming more. and then your done with your food quicker and your left hungry because you ate too fast. I like longer thinner stretched out food because you can take smaller bites and savor it, lasts longer, you can snack on it over a period of time. The whopper is a great example of a wide yet large food item. you can take a small bite and put it down, and enjoy it over some period of time. When you get these triple stacked burgers / sandwiches ect. that are the diameter of your fist you are forced into taking HUGE bites and finishing your food quicker.
