Ok so I just wanted to start by saying *THANK YOU FOR THIS BUILD!!* I made it on ygo and it's not only fun but effective. And since I know 90% of the cards I can actually play it well against more serious decks. I've found myself summoning Bane a lot lol, he's won most my matches and along with Neo combo got me my first ever OTK and FTK.

Is there any reason why you couldn't run Clayman and Sparkman instead of Avian and Burstinatrix? Seems kinda fun that you could potentially style on someone and summon Thunder Giant at one point, and pop something with less than 2400 ATK.

Hey Sam! I am a fan of the strategy but I have one main criticism: Your entire strategy revolves around resolving VYON to search POLY in order to fuse as much as possible, but in reality an opponent will hand-trap VYON play or interrupt it. Recommend playing more POLY access to play through interruption? :)

Dope deck, the only thing i dont quite understand is the use of flame wingman over something like thunder giant. With thunder giant you would add sparkman and clayman, which still can fusion into sunrise, however since they are both level 4 instead of level 3, the grandmerge would be 2400 instead of 1800 without boost. Granted its a small difference, im just wondering about it.

i will tell you this right now. i’ve just OTK’d an Qli deck 2 times with this deck. The combos are insane and this is probably a real comp type deck. The funnest deck i’ve ever played with by far. Only thing is a small lack of backrow destruction tbh. 11/10

You can use Sparkman and Clayman instead of Avian and Burstinatrix with Thunder Giant instead of Flame Wingman to get more atk out of Grandmerge since the two normal monsters are level 4.

Any particular reason you picked Flame Wingman and not Thunder Giant? I’m assuming it’s due to nostalgia, but Clayman and Sparkman would be able to do the same thing in the deck, except Grandmerge would come out with 2400 ATK instead of 1800.

Since you aren’t doing the Flame Wingman OTK with Favorite Hero, wouldn’t it be better to use Thunder Giant, Sparkman, and a Clayman? Sparkman and Clayman both are level 4 instead of 3 like Avian and Burstinatrix are, so that would make Grandmerge’s attack 2400 instead of 1800. Plus if you can’t make the full combo, Sparkman is Miracle Fusion fuel for The Shining

Funny enough, I did the exact combo u mentioned with Grandmerge on my brother, he was not happy. And it was the first time I used Cosmo Neos, since then I knew the card was busted.

I play the other variant of this hero deck(aside from the expensive cards like adusted gold x bane etc etc) and I find myself searching a lot with the deck and some of the searching cards come up dead and I find it interesting that in certain situations I’m like “damn I could use a twin twister or feather duster, or something better than a search card IN that particular moment. Hate me Sam but I cut E-Call to 2. I forgot what I replaced it with but it’s been doing great. The deck searches a ton and sometimes I’m like damn I could use like stolen strike or something to help me get rid of this Board. But no I draw another e-call. Meanwhile I have the card I usually search for, in my hand after I use the other 2 copies. You follow?

Isn't going Sparkman+Clayman and running Thunder Giant better than the Flame Wingman package? Thunder Giant package has better stats overall. Thunder giant can also act as removal in niche situations. You don't want to summon Flame wingman or Thunder giant ideally, but I think on the off chance you need to summon one I think Thunder Giant would be better most of the time.
