16:17 what makes us remember is effort n the time we invest in to meditate upon the word day and night and this word is spirit. But what teaches us the truth of the word is the holy spirit that Jesus promised to leave us with. That spirit is in a flesh like us. By working with this flesh then he's teaching us this truth. it's just the world can neither see him nor no him.

Thank you so much for the video it now around 6 months since I have been studying the bible with shincheonji it's a group full of good and loving people but I've been doubting the doctrine for close to 3 months and these months have been the worst months of my life feeling like leaving but later thinking Abt what if they are right and I fulfill the part of betrayers and when I decide to stay keeping the 3 basics of faith becomes so hard for me more especially evangelism because am afraid to bring someone into something that am not 100% certain that it's true.. I feel like a doomed and I've been so suicidal lately

Hi David, I just read your comment. I am so sorry to hear how you feel. 😔 I have been a member of SCJ for 10 years and left almost 2 years ago. I experienced the same thoughts. There is a lot of evidence, that the "promised pastor" has changed the doctrine quite frequently. If the word was really from God, it wouldn't change. Maybe you have the opportunity to get some professional help? Thatcwould be good. I wish you a lot of strength. Best wishes from Europe 🙏🏽

I second what @SeekingTruth2023 said there are a lot of differences in their doctrines, take some time researching outside of what SCJ is teaching you. Definitely seek professional help when it comes to having suicidal thoughts and you can also seek counseling that is specific to cult intervention/mind control to have a better understanding of these things

Have you ever got the chance to ask those questions when you were still a student in SCJ? Coz honestly, I dont have the knowledge of the Bible when I joined SCJ..... coz i know they always encourage us to ask questions

Even myself, it was hard to believe them. I was afraid to take in what I was being taught. Bt i couldn't just relax, i kept on reading the Bible to really prove my hypothesis about them. Even now am not yet there at 100% bt can't disregard this word of revelation they teach. I've heard u talk from beginning to the prayer 🙏. Bt there's nothing disproves what they teach. You "May" hv misconceived the subject topics of this video. So keep on reading your Bible because u "might be” speaking against the work of God. Not because u want bt because u've not first studied scriptures correctly. I pray too, that none of us may be Lost, me or anyone here, bt all know the truth of your word. Amen.

I think this new covenant that SCJ teaches is from Matthew 26:28-29.... Actually in SCJ, Figurative Flesh and Blood means Jesus' teachings/words.. And as you can see in Matthew 26:29, it says that Jesus will not drink from the fruit of the vine from now on until that day when He drinks it NEW with His people in His Father's Kingdom -- means that Passover will happen again at the Second Coming when Jesus returns... The fruit of the vine is wine, and wine in SCJ means doctrines, teachings, words.. and yes the NEW wine in scj is the Open Word of New testament, which is Revelation's fulfillment... we're taught that Jesus shed His blood so He could establish this new covenant... and His blood was shed for God's kingdom and priest in Revelation 1:5-6.... And that's why this new covenant mentioned in Hebrews is also connected.

Just out of curiosity how would justify the fact that LMH is unlikely to be the promised pastor considering he is a senile 94 year old who was a part of at least 3 other cults before founding Shincheonji, was convicted of embezzlement (given a suspended sentence due to age) as well as essentially teaches commentaries through the quotes of life. Also why is knowing ones blood type important to have in the book of life?

@@Ecclesiastes1v2_john1v18 Actually I just Passover'd and currently I am with the New Family department... I just filled out the form for the book of life but they did not ask for my blood type .... Also, I just explained in my comment what we were taught... also, I am already planning to leave

Scj isn't establishing another new covenant. U've read in Hebrews 10:16 "I will write my commands in their hearts”. In scj, these commands are being written in their hearts by knowing the revealed word of Jesus Christ. By knowing this, then u cn correctly keep the new covenant Jesus established at his first coming.
