Played dragoon at my locals last night and in 5 matches I was able to bring Dragoon out every time. DM wasn't too much of a brick but branded can probably bring out dragoon way easier than ever before outside of verte

I tried a similar build at a locals which I'm calling "hand-trap branded" in my head - 3 playsets of flex spots going to Ash, Nib, and Eclipse aka going 2nd cards that one hopes are good defensively. I really disliked it. I think it didn't have very much gas and the defensive options were weak once I got Ashed or D-barrier'd. This past locals, I replaced the flex spots with more bystials and the patchwork engine and 2 guardian chimera in the extra. The synergies are good - bystials represent more names to go into chimera and the patchwork engine loads the graveyard to turn on bystials (also you can activate poly into an open board, then chain bystial to surprise your opponent with a chimera and bypass their on-board removal). I didn't play against a bunch of Kash so all my anti-Kash is in the side deck. If you find your locals or whatever tourney scene is more diverse than just Kash, this build plays better through Ash on branded fusion and gives you better defense (using Bystials to sponge attacks to survive a turn) after D-barrier. Just my thoughts on the current trend of Branded. Also really like dragoon back in the deck lol.

I would cut beast for expulsion or just all together. With the lower bystial count its usually dead and most of the time you are searching for lost of Lubelion.

Aside from normal summoning arianna to trigger lady to spec (in defense), the jinzo essentially protects your entire follow up turn to break the board. Obviously, that has to be a turn 1 play, which branded has a better lines in my opinion

Definitely the correct DM artwork. He looks like a Despia 😆 I’ve been running a similar build except with an extra Magnamhut and an extra Saronir (4 total) with Beast. You get a marginally increased chance of opening meh against Kash for a better match up against the mirror, Labrynth and random stuff. Plus Saronir/Lubellion + Cartesia/Fusion Delployment = Branded Fusion.

@@gigadon120 ​ summon Cart, effect to fuse with saronir, go into Gran, saronir effect to dump, send retribution, Gran effect to dump and send main deck Albion. Albion effect to dump branded fusion. Retribution effect to add Branded fusion from grace to hand.

I would side out Nibiru or Book of Eclipse for Artifact Lancea. Rather than be reactive to your opponent’s boards/plays, be proactive and prevent Kashtira from banishing on their turn.

You will not be able to use Lubellion as fusion material, but it won't negate its effect.

Yea like this looks solid probably cut beast it's like you have already won if you getting lubellion from grave because branded fusion has probably resolved. So I don't understand why we would run this. I think the issue with the deck is that if you get ash-ed I like fusion deployment this card is the only way to play if you get ash-ed needs to be a 3 of and with aqua dolphin in side then you have another target. Everything else is just optimisations of ratios and going 2nd cards

No branded in white? One of the best ways to go I to dragoon imo is to either dump dm off of lubellion and make it with white or banish it with gold sarc/ allure and make it off of lubellion that way. Either way I really like white. Also if you're running a small bystial package I'd almost rather swap the bystial lubellion for a branded in high spirits. Saronir + branded in high spirits can be like a +4(send Albion, add main deck Albion, send retribution + what ever you need from Albion and draw 1 card)

Most of the time you’re going Mirrorjade. Especially blind first. Against Lab and Kash you’re going dragoon. Especially going second.

Is it worth running cartesia (have 3x) or Mercourier if I don’t have the fusions for them yet? I want to test the deck for a YCS but can’t get those cards yet. Also don’t have bystial Lubellion, I’m down bad rn bc I haven’t ran the deck yet

1 cartesia and 1 or 2 merc, cartesia are light monter so shes basicaly an albion mat, she can retrive itself. 2 its fine i guess but 3, i dont know, what you gonna do with 3 cartesia, quintet magician during opponent turn ?? Theres a possibility that you will draw 3 of them and i dont think you want to draw too many cartesia.

the cards required to make that consistent are not amazing in the deck overall, plus that combo dies to sphere mode/lava golem which are both popular so its like eh, do you really miss that play?

@@BlackEndsWhite the only card required to make the play is branded in white. No other card required. And there are ways to not get Sphere Moded. It just raises the decks sealing. Edit: you do need guignol and garura. My b. Still worth imo
