The gun update was amazing, I immediately reinstall the game and get all the weapon! One thing I want them to add in the future is suppressor, would be great for stealth gameplay.

Btw theres a way to tell between convoys which has pistole and smg ammo and which has rifle and shotgun ammo abandoned convoys pistole and smg and military convoys have rilfe and shotgun smmo

If anything that's one of the things I really liked about dying light one was after the game's been out for a bit and they released more DLC for like $3 a pop you got a bunch of really good guns like shotguns rifles guns at the electrical damage knives that did a fire damage just built in already it was great sure they were broken but like that's kind of what made the game fun in my opinion

Just tried this quest 3 times. First time, I finished getting the meds, then it lied and said I went out of the mission area while on my way to the 2nd area. The 2nd time, I almost finished the cherry on top crystals area. I hit a zombie and the game just froze and it wouldn't respond to any commands at all. I had to use task manager to force the game to close and redo it all again. The 3rd time, I had just finished getting the crystals in the 2nd mission area. Within seconds, it said I was out of the mission area. I think it probably thought I needed to immediately go from the 2nd mission area to the last one. I'm done. I may revisit this when they patch it later.

If any of yall find the missions to get guns too grindy: play the game offline, activate the defeat 3 demolishes and complete 10 survivor missions. Gre anamolies for some reason count as survivor missionz, so look for a repeatable gre anamoly that has a demolisher, then just repeat over and over. Once you've done the 2 missions I mentioned you get +600rp. Then, change the tine on your console 8 days forward(you don't have to restart the game), and jai will have missions reset. Rinse and repeat.

I wonder why the game didn't have guns in the first place. At least have some homemade pipe guns like in FO4 or scavenged guns like in Metro, and there could be ammo smiths that not only make regular rounds but special ones like fire, explosive, and armor piercing

In the lore, the government took away all the guns from the citizens, used up most of them and hid whatever little amount was left to recover later but the world ended. There was also already one makeshift gun in the game before this update

Nah, they were all taken away and stored away by the military so technically they were just sitting in storage. The guns aren't going to magically disintegrate over time, eventually someone would have access to them. Guns were in the first game so it makes sense that they are in the second one.

Since dying light 2 first released, there are always talk about the guns being taken away and put somewhere by the military, this add-on simply allows your character to find out where they were stored and have access to them. The update is crao tbh, nothing is balanced, enimies are way to tough, missions dot let you loot zombies or areas and dont give back expended resources meaning they just drain you. Everything is inconsistent, sometimes glitcing againts you often, such as dodging zombies, inturupting zombies, and shoving zombies, all for normal virals and infected mind you. And vendors still only sell handfuls of scraps at a time, you have to grind imposible missions that are difficult in base mode on a team to get ammo, when of course your going to want to shoot a ton, and then on top of all that they give you limited lives, in a dark night time level, on a limited map that kills you if you go pitside the mission area (and count it againts you) while asking you to re-emberse your immunity at the same time as not letting you go to most blue-zones nor collect blue mushrooms. And yet after ALL that the narrotive is "they added guns, gamers will never be satsfied" DUDE THATS BECAUSE THE GAME IS UNBALANCED AND PUT GUNS BEHIND THE WORSR FEATURES!!!

DL2 was the biggest disappointment, the fact they've had to go back on their own words (we don't want guns) and overhaul THE ENTIRE GAME just to start trying to get people interested, shows how bad it was, and how bad it still is.
