Lookout in vanilla is astral, the skill description is unchanged in betterTOS2. Conjurer has never had any defense, Coven leader is the only coven role with any defense.

The perfect irony of managing to hang the Judge was more than enough reason to include that round. If they made Judge a vanilla role, it should become an Achievement to do that (only those who vote the Judge up would get it). The specific player being the Judge in that instance only made it funnier (it would be even more so if it had been chibi, but that's always the case).

that's Egoist. one letter too many, lol. i thought the same thing too, at first. but yes, a wonderful group indeed. i think Chelly is the singer for the vast majority of their songs. hard to tell with them technically being a sort of fictional band that started in an anime though. makes it tricky to follow. and i've basically only ever seen the name Chelly side by side with EGOIST. the only one that i'm really familiar with outside of Egoist is Ryo, the songwriter, with all his prior work as a vocaloid producer and being part of Supercell. there's also an amazing song called Egoist (written as エゴイスト here on youtube) by Alba Sera, a Japanese vtuber with the agency, VEE. might be a bit heavier and more into the rock side than EGOIST usually is. but i'd be remiss if I didn't at least recommend it since it's not generally easy to find as most searches for "egoist" are going to find the band and not Alba Sera's song.

These were another set of fun, wild games, though I am of mixed opinion on the updates made to some roles. Deputy definitely seems to have become less fun and more difficult to use, and Egotist seems good for helping a game with many town roles, but if there are too many killers it seems easy for them to align and work with what is essentially a town Traitor. The speeding up each round was definitely very funny and I'm glad Ze got his win despite almost blowing up the Jackals, lol- plus it's always great when Redrum can get a win together! The Alliance between 2 other killers is an interesting wrinkle to play with and could be fun if the evils/neutrals aren't overwhelming the town. Hopefully people will figure out how the new roles work soon so people don't confuse others, as Chilled almost did with Chibi, since Judge is a very powerful position when used effectively. I do feel bad when the Judge calls court and then gets tried for treason, as Chilled sadly found out, but that's how it goes some days, lol. Of course, Ze as the Jailor pretending to be someone else is always funny and it's a shame we only got 2 rounds this time! Thanks for another hilarious, unhinged ToS2 session, Ze!

The description of new Invest's ability is kinda questionable. It could either be utterly useless or extremely useful. Does it say which evils visited or their names? I doubt it's a stronger lookout, so that is unlikely. If it at least says "Your target was visited by an Arsonist", then that's acceptable. If it just says "your target was visited by evil", that is a waste of time. It would be useful if you could use both that and normal investigate. Or if it worked like a Coroner, allowing you to add visitors to the list and look for them.

@@AlexanderPavel yup, it's kinda a bad role in my opinion, if it can win with town then they can just out themselves, let's all killers know not to bother with them and with town to not bother with them. About the only play is fake claiming survivor but that's gunna go back if tracker or lookout sees you visiting somebody. It's probably why nobody has revived it for TOS2. I think that is why both of the BetterTOS2 neutral roles and the egotist team specifically require you to get rid of town instead.

What the modifier egotist do?

One member of the town is randomly selected to be Egotist. This Egotist can no longer win with town, and instead acts like a Neutral Pariah (Wins and leaves town when all Town-aligned players are dead) Rather than having the abilities of any Neutral Pariah, the Egotist has their normal Town role abilities, with the added effect of speeding up the game by 20% for each day they are alive. The longer the game goes on, the less time town has to think everything through, opening them up to far more misplays and panicked misclicks, which the evils can easily take advantage of.

Probably so there's a penalty for letting the Jester win. If nobody would be harmed, Jesters would instantly roleclaim and be voted. It's also in the prankish nature of the Jester to get the last laugh twice, once for being hung and once from the afterlife.

@mobslayer211 I've been watching them play for years. They block all great town roles. It's always random town vs awesome bad guys. Yes. Town sometimes wins. But most of the time they lose. Jackal by far the strongest also.

@@Agroyboy1 They usually lose not because of town roles being awful, but because most of this lobby suck at playing as anything but bad guys. There are so many rounds where Town could win, but most of them just passively watch and don't even vote suspicious people up, so bad guys live for longer.
