Love the new trucks, I drive them daily and they are an improvement on the predecessor. However I often work in poorly lit areas which are a pain. I would like to see the introduction of a downlight system along the sides and better reverse lights on the rear.

@Refuse vehicle’s UK when there lease will end with the Mercedes so probably about a year or 2

Here in Australia we drive Dennis elite 5 side loader garbage truck.. my issues all the shiny surfaces alot of reflections.. but great to drive easy to handle very solid on the freeway.

Do the beacons automatically disengage over a certain speed yet? The number of wagons on the road with the beacons on while travelling shows drivers don't understand the purpose or operation of beacons.

Utter crap, we have a fleet of elite 6, and the new 2024 pluses. Expensive rubbish. Very unreliable
