The New Emotions Will Merge With The Old Emotions In Inside Out 2?!
When Inside Out first premiered in 2015, it received praise for its unique perspective on emotions and how they can influence someone’s life. At the time, few children’s films were willing to discuss emotional well-being and mental health. The original story included numerous messages about how all emotions have a purpose and that even negative ones, like sadness, are necessary parts of the human experience. To this day, people still reference Inside Out for its commentary on how complex emotions can be and how repressing them can negatively impact someone’s life. Recently, the trailer for Inside Out 2 introduced four new emotions into Riley’s life that will significantly change how she interacts with the world.
These four emotions, Anxiety, Envy, Embarrassment, and Ennui, are new to the world of Inside Out, as in the first film, every emotion we meet about characters outside of Riley has the same core emotions. Examples include children, teenagers, adults, cats, and dogs! Since we’ve only seen the same five emotions at the forefront of everyone’s minds, it begs the question: where did Riley’s new emotions come from, and where will they go? In today’s video, we hope to answer these questions with the theory that Riley’s new emotions will combine with her old ones, creating a new scope of emotional range and control.

I feel that Joy and anxiety can work together to help and smooth things out together and to help out each other in this second movie and Sadness can work together with Embarrassment and for discus can work with Envy and Emaui can work with Fear so they can become friends and teammates to help Riley to make things healthier for herself and for her to manage her emotions.

If it does happen then for example: Joy and Anxiety will give the same emotion so Ryley will feel them both at the same time

Since we've not seen any of these new emotions in the heads of adults thus far, I believe they end up with their own head space, a Sub-division of head quarters called upon when in need. I also would like to believe that the lack of a love emotion will not emerge and instead be held out for inside Out 3, since love is not seen in her parents and we know they are in love, as seen with excitement from a shared kiss in the inside out short, and we also know both parents love Riley. Riley just hasn't required a love emotion to emerge yet. When Riley was born, her default (first emotion was Joy) this influenced her temperament throughout life. Sadness just appeared next, without her whereabouts prior to that moment being questioned. Riley as a baby had needs, and crying got Riley the attention needed at the time. As explained in 1st movie, the others came about as a toddler. Now as Riley hits another milestone of growth of course more complex emotions just appear. Riley is feeling these things so they now appear. So the already well adjusted orginal emotion team meeting new ones of course would cause conflict. Riley in life, will not feel like herself as most of us do, during those awkward years. Years of growth and development towards towards a 'healthy mind'. 9 hands fighting for control of Riley at any given time will be too much and as a result Riley will 'forget' who she is during the bottled up moments/time the main 5 are stuck outside of head quarters. The new 4 will screw things up as drastically as fear, disgust & anger in 1st movie did. The new 4 will think they are doing the right things but Riley will face the consequences of all the new changes and need Joy and sadness (and the others) back to feel whole again. The new four will cause Riley to abandon her old friends (new emotions lack the memories, nor understand the importance of friends), new emotions will not be able to do well on either hockey team, because from the looks of it, movie 2 is going to do everything it can to show how perfectly our basic 5 have learned to work as a team. How anger brings aggression and confidence to her plays, how fear keeps her safe during games and how even sadness is routing for Riley during games. Anxiety, Envy, Euni, & Embarrassment are not going to do well during hockey games. None of those emotions support a good sportmen. Riley is going to make all kinds of mistakes, lose her old friends due to switching teams, lose her new team due to sudden lack of skills and interest in the game, she going to fall back into depression/grief, the new emotions will experiment with new situations all while the main 5 make their way back to head quarters. During their quest they will discover the construction (or existence) of a secondary headquarters, for supportive emotions. Here the main 5 may stumble upon Gloom(the suggested 5 new emotion, that's hidingbin the darkness of our minds) while in this new space the main 5 will find out they can still have influences on Riley but not the same controls as the orginal head quarters. There will be a battle between the two levels of control and the real Riley will pay for it as a result. The new emotions will not understand why they can't control Riley the same. Euni having a cellphone will finally come into play as the main 5 discover they can communicate with the new emotions through it from the secondary room. Everyone will realize they need to do the best for Riley and decide the best thing to do is return the main 5 back to head quarters while rehoming the emotions to the 2nd level controls. Communication will still exist between both, but in general the new emotions accept that their place as backups to the main. And along the way we may see other characters minds don't have the main 5 always at the command panel. Some people ARE just more anxious or what ever just as we've seen different emotions in the leader spot. Riley will be back to winning games but now also able to 2nd guess herself, gain new perspective on situations and live in harmony.... that is until 'love' interests come up... end scene roll credits...lol

Probably if they have a inside out 3 then she'll be in her twenties then five new emotions appears depression bipolar gluttony vacasy and pride along with love

A lot of these fan fictions seem to be motivated by people’s unhealthy fantasies being projected on to these characters a lot of these haven’t had substance or made real reference to past movies and missed some minor details.

Nah,,,,I have specific predictions -sadness will confront envy for what she did to disgust -disgust gets more character development -anxiety’s truth was exposed - liar revealed trope - joy interacts with disgust rather than sadness -the new emotion,”trauma” will appear at the end of the movie for only 14 seconds
