I love mine!! I got the antique rose too. The only thing I’d change, is move the skinny band around the barrel to near the base of the cap. It’s such a great pen.

The body/barrel is simply gorgeous! It looks like a matte wood grain on the website. Yours looks shiny. I’m tempted, but full of restraint today. I often search for video reviews about pens or supplies I am interested in and end up buying the pen to share my own review as well. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Marcy! Yes, it's shiny and smooth. I'm not sure I would have guessed it was made of ebonite if I had just stumbled up on it somewhere. I didn't expect it to be so lightweight and smooth! Good job with restraint, haha. I am trying to be done buying pens for the year (I preordered the Pelikan Rose Quartz and have a few unboxings already filmed from summer, so you'll see those!), and I want to keep a much tighter grip on my purchasing decisions next year. It's hard!

I think, it is called antique rose because of the way it looks. I'm not a wooden one, but that could be the look of some rose wood. Since that normally would look much brighter, it is named antique rose, because wood always gets darker as time passes it. Get better soon! All the best for you.

Aww I'm sorry you've been sick. I also filmed (and had to edit around the coughing) an unboxing when I had it. The pen looks really nice!

I actually filmed this twice - the first time I had to take coughing breaks every 2-3 minutes. This one I filmed in one take, and just cut out the seconds it took me to uncap the pens, mostly because I was saying something dumb, lol. Not one cough this whole take!
