What's bad is the previous max 3* and 4* rainbowmons that we have is basically just the same as level 1 3* and 4*.. all those max rainbowmons are now useless as a fodder to evolve something else to be used as a fodder Note: i have 600 3* and 100 4* max rainbows... This is why im salty about it. They should have at least given us advance info about how the new evolving system works so we could have use those max rainbows more efficiently

Awaken Choas Era did this recently , but they gave you back the EXP for the food monster you had and took them back to level one.

I came back just now after a few years of not playing, and I was initially confused by this new system. Now, when you've mentioned that there is no more fodder grinding - that's a massive improvement for casual players like me. I can now focus on runes, progression, and guild. You name it. I'm not exactly a fan of this new system, it's much more complex than before and more resource intensive. Though not having to farm feels odd, but not exactly complaining. And I think the auto select configuration doesn't work

I hear your points but honestly the system is terrible it took away all the need for farming effectively killed the need for rainbowmon (and in a roundabout way, angelmon as well) if you have spent money on this game and have plenty of fodder sitting in the sealed shrine and storage this change may not feel like a big deal but if you're ftp or anywhere between the beginner and intermediate stages of this game this change is enough to completely stagnate your progress at certain stages. Com2us blundered really bad with this one, and part of me believes it is on purpose to incentives spending even more money on this game.

1. did you enjoy spending hours in faimon farming to level up your mobs ? i didnt... it was annoying and a waste of time i could have farmed dragon, necro ffs even giant. 2. Rainbowmons useless? to make a 4* into a 5* you need 5x4* monster, OH WAIT WE DROP FREE 4* MONSTERS that we don't even need to waste material on :o ... we basically get free food by farming dungeons what the hell are you on about ... anyway ...

​@@kannonfpsso farming the food was a way of making mana. N was quick n cheaper then farming dungeons for mana. Everything you get from faimon ur selling. U farming dungeons you selling legendary runes or nah? You might be keeping certain runes and takes longer to run for some. And cost more energy. Hence the mana shortage

This system is just a direct downgrade from the old system, it consumes way more monsters mana and extremely inefficient when you also consider that lvling from 35-40 now takes nearly 2.5 x the number of runs to do. Im not sure how anyone could see this as a good thing unless your a uber whale who summoners way to much. This whole oh but it keeps the lvl is incredibly stupid when lvling took less then 5 minutes for everything other then 6 star. Like i get it your trying to defend com2us but this system is just god awful for newer players and the f2p/ low spenders.

the insane amount of time saved in leveling up FAR outweighhs the increase in resources needed, besides, farming exp is more efficient, and the rate in 3star dropping from scenario is insanly increased, you get around 3 3star monsters every 10 runs, so yeah, this system is waaaaaaay better. Also using level 2s for fodder is much much faster too-

@@pablosan161 Farming xp is not more efficient nor is it even remotely as fast as before. The increase in monster xp from not having the farmer take a cut is offsest massively by the increased amount of xp needed/rewarded. Once again if your a whale this is good if your not this system is bad the amount of monsters needed to 6 star something was increased by 20% at 4>5 and by 40% going from 3->4 which massively increases just how much food is required. Using 2stars for fodder is faster sure but considering it takes 3000 1/2 stars to go from 5-6 star there is no fucking world where its even remotely efficient especially when your dropping over 600k+ mana for the direct evolution cost on top of the 900k mana to summon 3000 unknowns.

I used to play a while ago when the game first came out and I HATED the old evolving system so badly. I honestly like the new evolving method a lot more since any monsters that could be food can be used to evolve without a lot of grind. Also something I realized something about the new evolving system: If you want to evolve a 4 star monster to a 5 star monster, you can just have 4 4 star monsters to gain the exact points needed.

if anyone wants to argue just show them the math. its 96 one stars to make a 5 star, that five star is food for 6 stars. 96 × 4 or 5 , its about equal to just throwing 600 one stars at a monster to six star it from five

It's so hard for new players to evolve now, considering I can evolve a low star unit with fewer foods but now it takes a lot more foods and Im always running out of foods

its terrible - for a 6* you need 3125 1* , 625 2*, 125 3 star, 25 4*, 5 5*. on the new system for the old one you only need 240 1*, 120 2*, 60 3*, 20 4*, 5 5*. you need to max out the food though. but comparing the food amount its better.

thanks for the video. Because I tried to take a monster to level 5 and when I hit auto select, it used 5 angelmons instead of four. They did release a statement saying that they would be fixing something because they did mess something up. sounds liek you should never use the max angelmon for evoling, just for power up. Ill wait until after the fix next week.

I used over 4000 unknown scrolls to get mon to 6*. The grind is so much worse and this is not even addressing the issues of mana stones and horrible drop rates in new dungeons...

B4 i state my opinion on whether this is better or worse let me give my explanation 1st. Ive been playing this off and on for years since about 2015 so i have had stacks of different materials for years i recently got back and saw the new system and was lime wtf they made all my old stuff useless. Then i engaged with it and realized how it works. Farming defiantly takes longer and thats a bummer but for a casual thats fine cause now i can easily get my mons to 6* plus i dont have to waste mon spots on my team or storage to do it. To summaries the evo system is way better now i have a use for all those fodder mons that i always save up. While farming level takes longer its not really an issue for someone lime me cause im looking for the most bang for my energy so i dont farm faimon because while its the fastest, i can get more exp elsewhere for the same cost. This update is not just aimed for top end players but for people who have been there for a while and have all of the 3-4* mons and multiple maxed 6* mons. For people who are actually in endgame and are just focused on rounding out teams with 6* mons, the amount of time it takes even just to get 5 4* mons maxed and then evo vastly outweighs the tame it takes to just pick a mon take it from 3*-4* to 6* max. Think about it. Even if it takes 50% more time and exp to get mons from 1 to max at 6* its way quicker and less resource intensive than it takes to get 5 4* to max level then evo them to 5* then max whatever 5* u want to evo so you can evo them. To have to start again from 1 at 6* again. Just do the math and it will make sense. Plus u can use whatever level mons you want, get mons to 6* so now all those 1000s of 3* that have in storage have a purpose

i just started SW some days ago, seems they reverted back to "3 food stars required for a 3=> 4 stars upgrade" ? so now keeping the lv between evolve is very very convenient for a 5 => 6 it's either - 120 (5 * 4 * 3 * 2 *1) one stars monsters if evolving them to 2, then to 3 etc. - or 600 one star monsters in one go. ofc first way is better.

Just came by to say, I read that we're getting a mana refund, i think today. The devs are recalculating the mana costs to 6 star mons since it was a bit much, especially for newer players.

I'll give the emergency patch next week a chance, but the system as it is now is a total failure by com2us's own admission. Conceptually I like how the system works but in practice it's untenable for new players and most f2p people.

I have some time to use the new system and I think I like it more now. Perhaps they still need to adjust the amount of mons and mana requirement, but overall this system is an improvement. I never enjoy leveling extra mons just for the purpose of "food".

the level of food doesn't matter ? I have hundreds of monsters at max level in storage I kept as food, guess I should have evolved them before with the old system. The amount of resources that I'm losing with that update is probably above any event that has ever existed in the game.

It costs more, it's a terrible system. Rune upgrading costs more on average, Evolving costs more than before. and no top of that farming mana is made (Much) harder than before. Next to that max rainbowmons don't drop anymore. XP boosts have become useless.

I was super cut about this at first but when i consider the time i spent levelling fodder vs the time i could now spend instead grinding runes or rift it's a net positive for me. sure, more food is "consumed" but the time gained outweighs for me heavily. Excellent video

This new system is great. I have neen able to create more six star monsters in a shorter amount of time, i kept a lot of 1,2, and 3 star monsters, now i dont have to sacrifice any valuable 5 star monsters to create a six star one

Bruh i just came back and grinded my fodders to max lvl before evolving. then i realised evolving them with diff rainbow mons (lvl 1 / max) had different exp contribution. So now I found ur video and damn, 6 stars are much more easy now. But now i have too many 12hr exp boosters in my inbox

It's still 3 3*mon to evolve to 4*. There's a error with the system so when u load 5 3* food for evolution, you'll be refunded with 2 3* rainbow mons as compensation for this mistake

What people tend to forget is that overall in the past EVERY guide recommended F2P to buy unknown scrolls, buy 2stars from shop and use them to Make 6* and all that YOU CAN DO THE SAME with the new system, for now it cost a little bit more resources but they give them back to you in your inbox the only time where they don't is 1* into 2* instead of 3monsters they only send 2 monster back into your inbox but that's plenty enough ... This system is faster and easier in my opinion, unless (like me) you fucked up when the update droped and used all your 1* like a retard anyway you explained it way better than i could so thanks for this video i'll definitly send it to other that think this is a bad system or whatever

why are you trying to defend com2us. fodder was never needed to level up unless you need for example more 3* so you level them and evo them. Now your just wasting fodder like 5 4* rainbow mon or 5 4* monster. Yeah using all your 1*,2* or 3* is good and all but it become a waste mostly when alot of us dont do hundreds of summons every month to have 3*and 4* laying around to use like nothing.

It takes no time at all to level a mon to max. For new players to the game maybe it's slightly difficult. Regardless of the new system, the fact they took the crafting of rainbowmons away & the ridiculous amount of mana to evolve any mon now. Isn't equivalent to it keeping its level, it's not. & they know it's not or they wouldn't have to compensate you after every evolution you do. The evolution system was fine & did not need this garbage tweaking
