Huh? That's a safety feature called road markings...who cares what the colours are? White is the most visible hence the choice and I hope you know Lagos isn't Nigeria? A lot of states use orange and black so idk. We were colonised by the British... ofcourse their influence would be strong here, do we not speak English and go to church? The White and Black curb is used in some other parts of the world too. It’s a safety feature. I don’t really think it’s the best for a place like Nigeria because they get dirty very fast and the maintenance to wash or repaint them every time they get dirty is just not cost effective, in my opinion. In America for example they don’t paint the road curbs. They just paint a yellow marker before the curb. It’s easier to repaint but the safety feature is still there.
