It’s honestly not stylized enough. The kill, death, and ui has this“fragpunk” style but the actual environment just looks like a mesh of various unreal engine assets.

They definitely took a lot of inspiration from already existing games and not just FPS games but fighting games too. A lot of the glitch effects with the user interaction reminds of "Into the spider verse", and the "KO" font style and UI gives of street fighter. The game play in terms of strafing definitely reminds me of apex, the gun play gives of valorant and COD. Overall the game looks good.

The game itself has nice visuals, but feels kinda slow. Pump up general movement velocity and it’d look much funnier. Both COD and Apex games have high movement velocity which by its own makes everything look more intense and dynamic.

I feel like this game in term of pace and movement is perfectly in between slow and high paced, and it's absolutly nuts, like we have a lot of slow paced games such as Siege, CS, Valo etc.. We also have lots of high paced games such as Warzone, Apex etc.. But what about games that are in between ? I feel like with this game u can basically choose and play the rythm that you want because it's not too speedy and not too slow either.

I didn’t know that it was round based. When they said hero shooter I was expecting a fast paced overwatch/tf2 style where the cards are played like ultimates. A slower paced valorant style where the team votes on a card(s) before/after a round doesn’t sound as fun or really my kind of game but I’ll give the beta a try. We have enough slow burners TURN UP THE CHAOS

They want as many people as possible to be able to play. And that often means making the graphics look more stylized/cartoonish. It's why almost all the massively popular games are runnable on tons of machines at great FPS and no performance issues. If you want a big game, it needs to run on a ton of machines. And it's just way easier to do that with stylized graphics opposed to heavily realistic garbage. Not playing games for realism, trying to escape reality.

Sh*t in = sh*t out; oldest rule in the book I’m not a dev but I’m pretty sure you don’t get a result that looks / feels good like this with out the effort I see lots of time invested and passion exuding off this game. Seems legit I’m excited to see where this game goes. Also I’m not understanding the sentiment of “mobile-game” I think people have confused mobile shooter games and tactical shooters because the gameplay speed seems similar tactical shooters are just inherently slower placed as opposed to an arcade shooter like cod for example, it’s better suited for competitive, and slower gameplay also worked for mobile shooters for a long time because the hardware used to play is just slower than a pc or a console not to mention the input hardware limitations of a phone screen for most people -slower gameplay is better for people who don’t have a mobile gamepad and such which is most of the player base on a lot of mobile games imo.

I really hope this game is good. All I want is a movement shooter with cool abilities. Already established FPS games are full of cheaters and sweats with years of experience and knowledge. Even if other people might be more talented than you at a new game at least is a fresh start for everyone. It'll be fun for a while.
