EVERYONE GIVE FNF AN APOLOGY! this explains everything! they didnt just make 1 new week and call it a day, they had too completely revamp and rework the entire game and make this new style for the foreseeable future, they where working on crafting a specific style for the game, and while week 8 is the main selling point the other 7 weeks all got an incredible fix up! for week 9 onwards we can expect too see this style

Game development takes a long time they added all the erect remixes revamp the entire game and added a whole new week. I think it’s justified. They did say they were gonna go quiet for a while after the first couple of updates they still delivered their promise They Needed to re work the entire game to get rid of the mess in the code This isn’t the only update they’re working on. They probably have a bunch of others that are either almost completed or completed waiting to put out.

2:45 yeah the gray arrow graphics are cropped and shaped properly. In the old version, there was an artifact maybe 1 or 2 pixels wide of one of the other arrows next to it from the graphics not being cropped and separated properly on the opponent's side. These ones are all perfectly cropped from eachother! It's very subtle, but that little bit had always bugged me. Every little pixel in artifacting can make a huge difference in an artstyle this simple and I am so glad that it was fixed!

Most of these were made on different engines, so they aren't affected, as they aren't made for basegame.

I'm not sure if it's a difficulty quirk or what, but there's meant to be a cutscene after 2hot (Darnell's 3rd song) I see plenty of people miss. Pico runs out of bullets on his Uzi, and Darnell runs out of fuel for his lighter, so in Blazin' they resort to fist fighting.
