They reduced around 3 supers worth of progression in the paid pass and added around 10 extra supers. Looks weird in the numbers but turns out to be SUPER great

They should increase the levels of the pass, 30 is not really A LOT. I feel like the free side of it is similar because they just made it so you're GUARANTEED of the super you want. But I kinda also see the downside of it meaning no more chest babies which means LESS star tokens in general. They still haven't gotten the grasp of things on how to fully fix it, this will do for now especially for the paid side of things they definitely made it more enticing to buy even without the skins. I'm still standing on my point about a month ago that they should rework the leveling system of it and get rid of pinatas and instead put in a random common, rare or epic chest every time you level up after you finish the whole pass. This is a step in the right direction

As someone who is f2p, they made the free pass so much worse. Losing chests, chests doublers, and chest triplers seems like you lose so much more possibility of getting babies. 9 Chest doublers could easily be 100-200 babies alone. The only upside to the new free pass is you get to pick the 100 babies.

i agree with you that the pass should be mega value. Brawl stars has such a good pass system, they have brawl pass and brawl pass+, but nobody buys the normal one which costs about 8 dollars but the brawl pass+ which costs 10 dollars and it is SO GOOD. When you do the math its worth 250 dollars beause if you refund it you lose 5000 gems which is equivalent to 250 dollars, and also the free pass is amazing as well. The good balance between f2p and p2p players in brawl stars is one of the resons why people love that game myself included i buy the bp+ every season

Why the paid pass is a Huge W explained in calculations: the minimal value you can get from 11 super choices is when you choose that all to common characters, which 1 common baby equals to 800 coins, then the minimal value of it is 880000 coins (800 x 11 x 100 because a super is worth 100 babies) Then, when calculating all the losses, it goes to 880000-141000(a star token is worth 300 coins, and it's 300 x 470)-50000-8000(a doubler is 4000 coins)-12000 = 669000 coins. So the minimal advantages from January pass is at least 660000 coins. It's a huge W, and you can increase this value by just picking epics from super choices.

Hear me out: What if Squad Busters made Showdown even more fun by: Increasing the map size (twice the size of Gem Hunt). Expanding it to 20 players instead of 5. Adding a trophy system to make it more competitive. Removing the Mega Potion (seriously, it feels out of place). This would create a completely different experience-an intense mode where the more competitive battles happen. It could become the extreme side of Squad Busters! What do you guys think? Would you like to add anything else?

This is such a smart improvement. Letting people pick and decide if they want to use their supers on one troop to get it to ultra or just picking multiple troops to make use of your current units you have that are close to ultras. Definitely a sneaky trick up there sleeves and now I’m buying these passes! 😃

Downside is i have dropped off a bit atm from the game but to be able to buy the pass and first reward would of been an ultra, I would be able to build a decent deck but now I would have to play and smash the whole season to get it.
