The New Generation - ALL HART

When you feel the talent and passion of someone young who wants ride big waves, i like to take notice. I met Ned Hart 2 years ago at his home town of Dunsborough in Western Australia. It only took moments to understand what his long term goals are. But at 14 years of age in this sport it takes time. 2 years later the kid has turned into an adult quick. Last year thanks to his mum Adele, he spent time at a number of big wave spots like Teahupoo in Tahiti, Indonesia & Hawaii. Now he's 16 and for the first time he took on Shipsterns Bluff in Tasmania. What we witnessed on the 26th of March in 3 waves, blew our minds and here is the evidence.
This is simply incredible stuff cause its ALL HART ! ENJOY.

what a sick breakdown of the opening wave. absolute monster surfing. The ski put him in nice and wide on the shoulder (unlike the last wave, where he was wayyy too deep), he made the air drop into another dimension, then, within a 10th of a second, is positioned perfectly to trim up the face and pull into the barrel. One problem, a giant fking Chando to the head, which he somehow blasts through, tucks in and spits out, still trimming the inside section... god level.

I was totally mesmerised just watching this video, and SO HAPPY I read through the comments to discover the technicalities of what was happening. Respect is such a small word with a huge meaning. From a fellow West Australian from up the road in Perth and whose once took a tumble in the surf and doesn't go into the sea unless it is at Hillarys boat harbour. 🙂 RESPECT NED, to you, your parents and all who are on the ocean assisting.
