All the multi-ball/multi-laser monstrocities we've seen you create in RL, and suddenly you have an issue with a few scythes 😔

The formation mods no longer reduce the number of projectiles. Instead, they add the new formation to the existing shots and they stack. So if you have Arc Shot and X-Shot, you'll shoot your regular shots, Arc Shot AND X-shot simultaneously. Also, I believe that sharp shot is affected by weapon damage bonuses now (meaning it increases the weapon's base damage), but I'll have to test it to double check.

From my playing I think it’s just a flat add on at the end, it would be kind of super broken if it increased the base number before the percentage factored in

Hey note on % damage stuff. If shotgun has 10 pellets each doing 2 damage that's 20 damage per shot. so even tho it only goes to 4 per pellet it goes to 40 per shot. However each pellet triggers on hit effects and status effect individually. Add to that the base fire rate is higher than on sniper shotgun should have higher dps if you don't miss pellets. % bonus effects dps the same no matter how much a single projectile deals. So for the laser the much faster fire rate means more effect triggers and doesn't lose dps unless the base DPS is worse. The main question is how much you miss and how you build.

I think the game needs a one shot protection kinda like risk of rain 2 has, if you are above 90% or full you can only take like damage down to 10 or 5 % of max hp from a single hit. Would make it less disappointing when you just get insta sniped while not removing much threat.

For scythes you wanna be close to enemy’s b/c each kill you get summons scythes no matter what you kill them with so scythes can kill something and summon even more scythes so there really broken with hoards

He has some extremely unnecessary hate for it, it makes no sense bouncing shots Carries you in most roguelikes and would allow him to beat the rush islands that he always complains are “impossible”. They are not you just need aoe+ piercing+ bouncing

You just keep shooting even when no enemy, and all you can eat does that no ammo is use when killing enemy for 2 seconds a level one. You upgrade it to level 3-4 and after that you keep leveling up wind up when you can

Yo dude I don’t know how many vids I’ve seen but you really need to fix your thinking on bouncing shots they do the most damage in almost every rogue like and would allow you to complete those islands where you have to get lots of kills really fast that you always complain are “impossible”, Because guess what just like everything else in this game they can be upgraded and stack with other things.
