+Eryani Lim so sorry to tell you that they are called wantan noodles. in chinese you pronounce yun tun. and cantonese you pronounce wan tan mee. wonton.. Dafuq? thats why in singapore they usually also dont know much about their roots since less percentage of chinese people there actually learnt writing chinese. I know you can speak but still... I doubt most of you can write a good chinese essay.

It's so embroiled into our culture. Sometimes it's also known as "Kick Ball" in Hokkien, should be "tak giu". Formerly because of what was advertised on the tin cans of milo, a kid kicking a soccer ball. Rarely used but coffee shop owners understand lol. Heck, you can even use this slang to order drinks at McDonald's. KFC, I'd say some places it's effective, some places not. Have fun.
