No it doesn't go 50mph...I already confirmed with the sales representative. Depending on weight, & riding conditions u may get between 32-38mph+...but I still like mine

Happyrun has sold lots of e-bikes already, and I've seen tons of video reviews of their older e-bikes, so I know they're a legit company that makes good e-bikes, but their claim that the G100 can go over 50 mph, is making me very skeptical about buying it. There is simply no way it goes 50+ mph with a Peak 2000W motor. 2000 Watts will get around 35-40 mph. It would take around 4000-5000 Watts to get 50 mph. Looks like an awesome e-bike, but their false advertising is losing me. Their price would still be worth it for what it is, they should just be honest.

Honestly I think 30-35mph is fine... I don't think that I will be able to ever do 50mph in Las Vegas. I wouldn't take the risk of dealing with the police. But it is times while I'm riding that I could use the speed just to get out of the way of crazy drivers, just to get on a sidewalk and let them pass. It's a lot of bad drivers that hate to see an E-Bike on the street
