As a Leeds RL supporter for almost 60 years and a North Stand member for nearly 25 of those years I can't wait to see this project completed. However, I have many questions that I'll be asking at the public exhibition which mostly revolve around how the project will tackle disruption to members seating, match arrangements and planning/construction timescale. It looks great on this video and I want Leeds Rhinos to have the best facilities in Super League. Get on and get it done !!

should firstly redo north stand with new seats and then do the south stand, keep it all standing and try put a shelter over the away end

The new South Stand will hold 1,000 more than the current one and the North Stand will too.

south stand should be all standing its what makes it stand out from all the others grounds, that many people so close to the pitch is very intimidating to players if the southstanders wanted to sit in seats they could always sit in the north stand or the east stand however they don't as you rarely see the seating filled but the standing south stand is regularly near capacity

This will mean they there would be more Leeds Rhinos fan coming to watch the match let alone the average will go up as well as putting Odsal to shame. When it comes to the cricket the crowd that will come to see Yorkshire will go up as well so from having 15,00-16,000 out of 17,500 against Lancashire there could be 17,000-18,000 out of possibly 19,000-20,000 depending on how much bigger the capacity will be for the cricket ground.

every modern stance is looking the same. but you cant stop progress. at first i didnt see headingly as a big stadium for rugby league because it looks so compact. i just hope they can keep the great atmosphere

As a Leeds resident ,I find it laughable that a stadium with only 3 sides can be taken seriously

south stand with upper seating?? nah, get rid of, south stand is purely for standing, its what creates the atmosphere, its what makes it the best stand in rugby league!

+Matthew Green what makes the atmosphere is that thousands of vocal supporters are housed in a stand with a low roof that traps the noise in, if the new south stand has a roof thats roof is pitched upwards (as the pics show) then the noise will escape

even after this phase of redevelopment the ground looks shit. the stadium looks stupid. compare it to lords oval edgbaston it doesnt even come close.
