Haha, I just returned to the game yesterday after a 2 month break, and I did this combo and it worked REALLY well. I won a lot of ranks with crit greatsword, It's much much easier to get to 4 greatswords with this.

it´s probably a good idea to go for two hearts of darkness when playing impractically large greatsword in case they steal your empower, plus 80% of reduced healing is a lot

imo if they release on mobile they will see a nice player base increase, it is like the perfect toilet/transit/lunch game, since you can pause and come back to it anytime kinda like sap but more complex

I assume that you always consume stamina whether or not you hit, but you won’t trigger a shield if you miss either, so you won’t lose any additional stamina. That’s how it seems like it should work, but I have no idea if it does.

Getting the heart on a 1% drop rate just after it has been updated makes me think they upped the drop rate temporarily, and I think that is a good thing.

Not really, you also need regen to convert into Vampirism the normal heart is still better as it regenerates more regen over time. Though Leaf with Bloodthorne is still really strong together so it might be fine.

Why is everything made with corrupting crystal

I agree, it's kinda weird and makes corrupting crystal a hot and important item to find in general if you're looking to build stuff. However: It's like this probably because devs want to make a larger "Dark" item pool for synergies and stars without introducing a ton of brand new items that they've been creating for the full release of the game (I think). It's a way to re-hash already existing items to make combination items. I wonder if a lot of recipes will change with the full release?
