Taking full advantage of the 2 8.0 batteries for $99 deal right now. Buying extras to keep for later too. No company in existence has tools that make this much power for the money and 8 amp hour batteries for 50 bucks. Great warranty too right through the store

I got this impact after team yellow broke on me so I wouldn't have to spend an arm and a leg waiting for it to come back from warranty claim. I am absolutely sold. It's easily more powerful than ol yeller and make my work damn near effortless. 6 inch lag? Brap brap done.

I've got a Hercules impact driver and bought some socket adapters from lexivon and so far they have not broken

I always thought a 1/4" driver on a 2" socket is a bit ridiculous, a more realistic test is a 1/4"-1/2" x 4-8" long lag screws in a 6x6............

I have both, the Hercules is too powerful on mode 2 & 3 for just driving screws into pine . Would be great on Timber locks.

The best socket adapter I’ve found is the husky ones believe it or not. I’ve tried all of them available at Home Depot and lowes and those last the longest for me. I’ve never tried the Hercules adapters, but they may be worth a shot also.

2nd vote on the husky. I have 2 that came free with a set of 3/8 impact sockets. Those things have lasted longer than any other adapters in the garage.

The Hercules adapters are actually very good. Have only broke a couple in past year

Yeah saw another video on Herc driver . Like your test it did best with extreme performance 4 Ah battery , It broke adapter but before it broke got to unloosening torque of 500 ft :bs . Some do / don't likr thre Herc 1/2 inch impact wrench

Try DeWalt. In my opinion, they make the best bits around. DeWalt also took the W in Project Farm's testing at a median of 2,000 psi vs 1,250 psi of the Makita. Bosch did very well too.

I did use a Dewalt on an upcoming test. It lasted quite a while before it broke. I was impressed.

Did your battery fit loose on the drill mine feels very wobbly doesnt fit snug

Snap-on socket adapters are expensive as hell but also take more of a beating in my experience

Maybe I shouldn't buy the extreme performance batteries. I'll be going through adapters daily. It's already effortless driving in lags and sheet metal screws.

the hurcules adapter is better than those makita junk adapters they will hold up to 450 ft pounds of torque
