Appreciate the MacDon draper width is necessary compared to extra time to cut with a 13 foot wide MacDon R1 disc mower head with conditioning rollers.(Looks like the 940 Macdon draper head with hay conditioner was a past model?) The Brookdale Farm youtube channel in W. Aus showed an old round baler that had been converted to a 'stalky material windrow lifter'. (video title "A different way to deal with wet hay"). Are there modern versions of the old John Deere 21-crimper and 31-crusher units? The Teagle 'super ted' units are expensive.(There are examples of older non-def machines with triple mowers - the Claas 690 forage harvester with claas triple mowers and the John Deere 8650 articulated steer with claas triple mowers?) Conclusion - about time Australia, Brazil & Argentina got together and built tractors & other machinery with less electronic nonsense etc on them.

Probably a dumb question but I’m a plumber so not up with this stuff. When you’re baling and talk about pressure being to high is that how tight the bale is compacted and what causes it?

Yep spot on. So the drier the hay the more load/pressure you need to get weight in the bale but it does have a limit from what I know. If the pressure is really low 4-600 then you’re too high in moisture. You can, with in reason, bale hay to the pressure = moisture content

@ Cheers appreciate ya taking the time to explain it. Been watching your channel for a while and really like the way you explain all the behind the scenes side of what you do especially harvest time. Great channel 👌👍
