Hope your channel will keep growing! Oh, final piece of advice for those who want to visit Xishuangbanna: the Dai Show was really great! Also, a bit far away outside the city, the botanical garden, and further south, another rain forest park. Also close by: Puer tea plantations. I spent 5 days there end of 2020, had a great time! The food, the night market, all amazing!

Actually, it is more similar to Myanmar than Thailand. It is the border of Myanmar (Shan State), and not even the border of Thailand. If you look at their architectures closely, you can see the buildings, Buddha and angel statues they all look similar to those in Myanmar. The next big city in Myanmar is Taunggyi.
