The release button lets you get rid of your current familiar skin so you can pick a different one. You can’t tame any mobs that have “special abilities” (anything other than a regular hit) but hopefully they chance that bc it’s a bit underwhelming rn! Edit-you have to click the red button to release it, not just use the ability

If you really want to tame a mob that suits your needs, I will tell you. Just to let you know, you can't actually tame any bosses and in World 10 mobs as well so that's kinda unfortunate. Not so sure why, though The pet icon should be above its head for the world 1 to 9.

@@ToxicLowFive release the Boarwolf. Then the R ability’s icon should be 2 hearts. Go towards a forest raptor or something and use it. Kill the mob before the time runs out. Sister Guard explains it better than me

1:40 this has been a problem for years now i remember playing this game first time in summer of 2021 and i had the exact same animation bug so it's VERY VERY UNLIKELY they'll fix it as it has been in the game unfixed for so long already
