The new intros of 2024 | Intro Collector Year in Review

Disclaimer: I try to keep track of most changes in broadcasters around the world, but as a single person with a demanding real-life job, there will be developments that slip my observation. If there are any intros that I've missed, please comment them below. Have a good 2025!

Canal 5 is the last standing channel of the company who operated Prime TV, Canal 2, Canal 3 and Publika TV (all closed down in 2023). And even then Canal 5 was closed down in 2024 and now operates as a WebTV channel only.

Also forget to mention that KBS returned to most famous theme, but remixed and now there's a TVP's 19.30 intro's Christmas variant used since a week ago.

Awesome work. Uutiset is the coolest change of the year IMO, the theme is cool. NZ’s contribution to the year (Three news) was pretty meh.

Great video for closing the 2024. Some intro definitely upgrade, even few of them reborn the legendary tune with modern instruments. Some considered as incumbent (not changing intro since more than 10 years) finally changing the intro. Also there's some facelift at selected intros. Although some upgrade is just nothing special or having little impact, there's also a downgrade on this 2024 intro. Bit sad to see some NZ closure main news program, something happened in my country years ago, especially for non news Television Channel, where they swapped the main news program slot for profitable programmes like drama or opera soap or just light variety program or even Celebrities news.
