The new keyboard is soo good to use if you’re a student. You could use the keyboard and then subsequently flip it to a smooth surface for note-taking rather than completely taking the keyboard off. I might consider upgrading now…! 🤔

The battery life is superb, the landscape camera is a winner for me, the shape is suitable for my carrying case. As part of my purchase, I threw in a case from ESR, and a Logitech Crayon to compliment my purchase. So far so good on my iPad. The Logitech Crayon works perfectly with it as well.

I really wish they would have the magnets on both sides. I use an iPad Air 5 & it’s annoying to use it in portrait mode being left handed. It’s awkward to have the Apple Pencil on the opposite side

I had a 9th gen iPad and I have the 6th gen Mini. I wanted to upgrade to a Pro, but when I heard about the new iPad announcements, I decided to check them out. I like that the new base iPad has the same design and got a bump on the processor and the new colors are fun, but sticking it with the 1st gen Apple Pencil was a turn off. After research and comparing things, I ended up going with the Air 5. My coworker has a 9th gen and he's buying the Pencil from me.

Hmmm it may be more worth it for folks to buy the Air 4th gen or another old iPad for the laminated screen and Pencil 2 support. Should probably be similarly priced at this point. It does at least look good with the design refresh. Btw I’m new to the Apple ecosystem, I resisted for the longest time but I have to admit, I really enjoy my Mini 6. More than I did my Galaxy Tab in the past. I think it’s because developers support it more.

Oh the mini has my heart!! 💜 I like how Apple has a large lineup of iPads to cater to all different price points. Everyone will be upgrading from a different iPad (and year), so it’s nice having options!

Great review! I want the Pink ipad so bad! I’m currently working on an ipad 6th gen with 1st gen Apple Pencil. I feel like this was meant for me since I already have the first gen Pencil lol sucks I’m on a tight budget with my car breaking down last month.
