The thing with John is that he rates towers based on how good they were in Solo, instead of going in-depth on what the towers are fully capable of and how they synergize with other towers. It's kind of concerning given that he is developing his own TD game with that mindset.

They'll 100% nerf the poison pool cause if you get 8 max with poison and confusion it's pretty strong. I'm guessing they'll start fiddling with the maximum amount of poison pools spawned at the same time

Has anyone mentioned that the confusion bomb is able to confuse BOSSES!? I tested it with molten and I saw the molten boss walking backwards. This may be one of the only tower that is capable of doing such thing.

Before the Jester could no longer confuse bosses, it was a must-have for solo hardcore. That just shows how broken jester used to be.

Don't forget the Jester tower does have one single flaw, which is the terrible range but can easily be fixed by DJ. Devs should find a way to rebalance this quickly because this will definitely be in the meta soon and we know that would make this game unfair than it already is. Overall, I would rank the tower for now as a low S tier tower, it's just the range that slightly holds it back. But overall, a worth-it reward for beating the amazing event.

I think poison is the best. It doesn’t weaken the other effects, and strengthens ice & confusion. Confusion is in 2nd place. It goes well with poison, but its effects are weakened with ice. Fire is in 3rd. Yeah, it makes ice obsolete, but pyromancer does too. But other than that, it doesn’t really do anything with the other bombs, and is overall reliable DPS. Ice is at last. Ice might go well with poison, however, it makes confusion weaker, and fire makes it obsolete. And the fire doesn’t even have to be from a bomb, it can be from pyromancer, a tower some people bring.

6 sledgers, gladiators and 8 jesters with confusion bombs on = the best trio for crowds? Since jesters can confuse enemies for 3 seconds & and sledgers can freeze them for 2-3 seconds makes the enemies stuck there temporarily! Enemies staying in the spawn for 20-60 seconds makes accelerators more viable.

I think corso forgot the fact that if you put them near the enterance with poison bombs you can stack a bunch of puddles and do insane damage, basically instakilling any spawned zombie. paired with the confusion, the zombie could also walk back into a poison puddle. Very good other option instead of gladiator for speedrunning.

The best way to use jester is equippe 6 jesters using only poison bombs and 2 jesters for confusion bombs as the confusion bombs will force the enemies to go backwards towards the poison and once the confusion has dissapated and they start to walk normally they'll be walking to more poisons its practically the best tower to kill hordes and the best tower for speedruns with dj commander its practically a free speedrun win

Wave 1-13 is kinda easy, wave 14 is where you have to be quick, you have to kill the hands before a hoarde of ultra buffed enemies reach your base, because if u kill the hands, you automatically win even if u didnt kill the hoarde of death

(used to do 25k) so if there is like 4 people, with 100 batterys each, means a single person if he is 100% of the time focused on the hand, can deal max 100k damage. 4 people? 400k damage. hands total have? 600k. so they litereally BUFFED the event.... (and dont forget about the unkillable horde of enemies rushing to your base)
