indeed you're right. In malaysia it all happen everytime. Today u buy 1000cc, the next day u change to 600c or 250\300cc. lol. We actually don't have really long road or even in highway. To reach a 6 gear, its hard with the traffic and all.

What I love about 250s and in this case, the 300, YOU push the bike to its limits, the bike dosent push YOU. On an R6, for a beginner, its always "ok, i wanna go fast, 3/4 throttle? (twists throttle) OH SHITT TOO FAST!!" On a 250 or 300, if you wanna go fast, you push the bike as far as FAR as it can go, and the bike responds to you, you dont have to respond to the bike. Its just more fun and gives you a better feel.

I agree. Well I am only 140lbs of mainly muscle. So, I think the 300 will be a perfect bike for myself. I definitely agree that you get the privilege to say that you could ride a bike. Everyone could drive a car, but not everyone could ride a bike. The Ninja 300 is definitely showy..that's what I like about it. I can't wait to get this bike! I have dreams of freedom on it. May God watch over me.

4 cylinders at this displacement would make the engine more peaky and less torquey. It would also raise costs, weight, size, etc. As for the upside down forks... I don't know, maybe Showa doesn't make any that would be appropriate for this size bike, or maybe they'd be too stiff/aggressive, or maybe they're just simply too expensive and not worth it to them. I would be interested to hear a Kawasaki engineer's answer on this as well.

I'll admit it, I'm a noob about bikes but I dream with a 600cc, maybe ZX-6R. I've been reading about start with a less-cc bike as a starter bike, but I always thougth that it couldn't be so bad to get a supersport if you would be careful. But your argument is pretty good and now I think I have a lot to learn and reconsider my wishes. Thank you.

Top speed as seen from other videos was 115mph. And if I am not mistaken the top speed of the 250 was about 110mph with a rider weighing 145lbs. I wouldn't buy this simply because I want the smoothness of a 600 or larger. I had a 2006 500 ninja that was fun but still way more noticeable viberation then the 2009 zx6r I tested a few years back. But at least they are on the right track. Efi instead of the carb they had. Correct me if I am wrong on any of my statements.

My Ninja 250 topped out around 95 mph before redlining. I'm from the US, so Idk about 0-100kmh, but it can do 0-60mph in around 6 seconds. It really depends on you and how fast you can gear shift.

Please can you advise me on the size bolt I need for the rear spool for a paddock stand. I own a ninja 300 cc 2013/14 American import. I was advised it to be 10 mm but this does not fit.

I'm sure that the problem that Kawasaki had was that they had to try and make this bike appeal to riders all over the globe. In the UK, new test laws mean that anyone over the age of 21 and under 24 has to ride a bike making no more than 47-48hp so the ninja fits in there. But they also had to make it appealing to the US market as a 'first bike' where many wouldn't like to venture above 40hp with no two wheel experience.

But there's also other reasons why I'm going to get CB500F/X,Kawa here still on the clearence sale of Ninja 250R so it going to take awhile before they brought new 300 here,Honda got a head start here because it actually made in Thailand and i live there! And price advantage i mean yes 300 is going to be cheaper than 500 but not by much. It sells like hotcakes here,orders are everywhere! No more travel to college by van! This bike will set me free!

Man, Yamaha YZF R125 weighs only 138 kg I had it for two years and that bike is much better than cbr 125 And it's not only about appearance.. It's about 100/130 mm tires, 15 ps engine, and great suspension.

just recently had a wreck on my 300... personally, i think kawa should have put dual front caliper disks rather than just a single or else i could have avoided my spill. most sport bikes have dual but not the 300.

the stock break pads are pretty dodgy, you can just replace them with better pads rather than needing a second disk

I like this 300 Ninja but too bad its sporty riding position just doesn't fit it for me. And i need bigger engine in order to carry my extra weight of 205 lbs. A 2013 Honda CB500F or X would do it for me. I like Kawasaki and everything but they appeared to be a bit too showy and rather heavy on the price tag compared to Honda. I'll still use car more than bike anyway i'm a beginner rider and its hobby on wheels its FUN you can't say you drive car as hobby it just too much of a workhouse vehicle.

i dont think thats the problem. i believe here in the US, we have a problem with things that are " cool " , it isnt cool to own a 250 because the R6 and the gsxr and the zx-10's are cooler and if they roll in a standard SV650, or a ninja 250, or fz6R ( which are all great bikes ), they get made fun of by there friends because they have a " sissy " bike and not a fast super sport
