The Kobo Libra Color and the Kindle Colorsoft use the same Kaleido 3 screen technology and thus they both can display the exact same 4096 colors.

I was so so excited for them to release a color kindle finally because like you I am not very smart and do not want to work for my books and putting all the effort in to learn to transfer them and I absolutely love it, all the reviews about the yellow line were scaring me but mine isn’t super severe and doesn’t bother me while reading

I read on my Scribe most of the time, like a hardcover book & use the Paperwhite for travel.

Nice video. I own the Oasis, the Scribe 20222 and 2024 version. Also the Colorsoft. The new Scribe has sooo many bugs 😢. It's frustrating! It's a little bit faster, writing feels more like writing on real paper. I love the new eraser and the beautiful metallic jade color 😍. The Colorsoft: I noticed the yellow line, band on the bottom of the screen. But not that much. I keep it. The Colorsoft is super lightweight, fast. I love reading on it. But I prefer reading on the Scribe. Because of the bigger screen.

The Colorsoft has way more color than the Kobo Libra Colour. Not sure where you got your information.....

I love mine. Yes, it has a very faint yellow tinge along the bottom, but I don't notice it when I'm reading.

Great video! How grainy is the background when reading a normal book compared to the kobo libra colour ? Went to the store on the kobo Libra colour’s release date to buy it and ended up getting a kobo Clara bw because it was too grainy and pixelated. I also felt the contrast wasn’t as good.
