I really love the osts in this anime. The soundtrack that played when that Satan spawned out, it gave Akatsuki vibes. Apeas and Bebin's fight scene was cold, loved the animation. It was interesting getting more of a backstory on the queen. Now we see her in a different light.

there's nothing in common with daeda and joffery, daeda is competent even in combat as seen from episode one let alone having trustworthy retainer in bebin, and the power struggle between siblings leading to murder is a common theme during succession of throne arcs

What I really like about this show is how the artstyle gives you an extremely false notion of the level of maturity of what you are about to see. It really does portray itself as something for kids and then the first episodes start banging out very mature yet not edgy content and some complex twists in the development of the characters + you get reminded that wit studio is here to animate the hell out of it and you are like oh shit this is a huge surprise. Finished the first season (hope we get more) and almost every episode is a banger.

What i really about this show is that most of the characters are very realistic. For example - Queen Hiling . She loves both Daida and Bojji but at the same time she Knows that Bojji is not capable of becoming The Ideal King because of his disability to speak and hear.
