Well… you do have to do a little installing. After that some of the emulators are more ready to go than others. But the Yuzu (switch) and Cemu (WiiU) emulators you’ll have to configure your controller for. Cemu isn’t real obvious. I had to look up a video.

I had to do a lot of tinkering with mines but I have everything up to date and running. Had to update some of the emulators (PCSX2, RPCS3, Cemu, and Xenia) and switch out Yuzu for Ryujinxx. I had to add more games as well to my PS2 and Xbox collection and it was easy to do thru Launchbox. Got rid of most of the PC stuff and freed up about 200 GB's. Only thing I'm upset I didn't have was the retro magazines. Overall I'm happy with it AFTER I configured it the way I like it.

Make sure you try your best and back it up somewhere else at least your favorites. Those hds are not new and will eventually fail especially if it’s constantly reading and browsing

there is 300gb of free space left on the drive...kodi is there so the user has options for use of the 300gb... for music or videos... that kind of thing. its a good idea.

Yeah that’s a good point. I’m still shocked at the lack of PS2 RPGs. Have you tried Wii U on there? I can seem to get controls to work, and reconfiguring doesn’t seem to work for me either. I could be doing something wrong on configuration though.

Sorry for the delay. I don’t see that Mario Kart on there. You can definitely delete games though. Just go to where the ROMs are stored on the drive and delete there there. Also, at least in Launchbox you can also hide games through their menu. But I assume you can also unhide them so that may not be quite as safe.

@@AllGamesNewandOld does not need to be SSD - its a western digital 12tb hdd that i presume is a sata connection - i nhave not seen it so cannot determine the connection of this 12tb - but if its sata then can just be placed in the PC - that way you wont need a plug going into the wall nor needing to use a USB chord would like to find out if someone has done that

very dissapointed in mine, so far from plug and play its not funny, looks great with so many games and launchers, but so many dont work and have bugs, games dont start or crash regularly, whole platforms like psp in french language, so many bugs and issues its ridiculous. and its not the hardware as ive tried it on 2 different pc's and they run another similar hdd without any issues and everything you run just works. this is the opposite in my experience. you can pay a little bit more and get one that has been configured properly and everything works without issue.

Your better off doing individual emulators and using it that way I hate the front end they offer too much lag and yes your absolutely right some of the stuff doesn't work I had to find better copies and replaced some and alot of China garbage stuff freaking frustrating and $300 smh 😑

I have the original hyper spin 12t and was extremely disappointed in the complete lack of rpgs in all the consoles higher than ps1. Ps2 has 656 games and there are less than 20 rpgs. I would have appreciated at least 10 percent ratio which there then would have been close to 70 RPGs in ps2

Yeah it’s a really weird choice. You can buy all the Maddens and whatnot for pretty cheap. The RPGs get expensive. It’s a missed opportunity for added value.

Yes. It’s a regular herdrive just open file explorer and browse the folders till you find Roms. Or just google but you can easily add or remove what you don’t want

I don’t see that game on there unfortunately. This one doesn’t have an Apple 2e emulator. Their earlier 12TB hard drive does though.

Stay well clear of these are 12tb hardrives thrown out by data centres they have been hammered 24/7 and they are end of life re-purposed for these emulators, friend of mines died 3 minutes after powering on. A lot of people have reported loud ticking coming from these drives a sign of pending failure. Just remember if it’s too cheap to be true it usually is crap

I didn’t on this one. I had on their previous one, and found mostly false positives. There were one or two files that looked like they might actually be a problem and I quarantined those. Those false positives can be a problem if your antivirus quarantines them automatically. I can cause all sorts of issues with the drive.

First time watching you. Couple questions. I have the original hyper spin 12t. I plugged it in to my mini PC and it worked perfectly. I turned it off and next day as soon as i turned it on it was responding as if i was pushing the x button and would just start flipping through games. It would stop if i was continually pushing up or down on the d pad but not solid pushing up or down only tapping repeatedly. Luckily once i can choose a game everything is fine. Donyou know what's causing this? Its not the controller. If i unplug either controller it stops randomly flipping through selection. Can i erase everything that the external hard drive put onto my pc and re introduce the hard drive to my pc and start over?

And yes, you can start over, but you already troubleshooted your problem. It only happens when your controller is plugged in. It's your controller. Either something is wrong with it, or the drive doesn't like it. I had to buy am Xbox compatible controller for mine to work properly.
