Imagine this... Godzilla and Kong see this orange-looking Kong, and Godzilla possibly recognizes him. Kong and Godzilla get the opportunity to defeat this orange kong, but Godzilla then starts to lose it after figuring out that kongs and Godzillas were once enemies. Godzilla lets the Orange Kong getaway, and later they find out there is a bigger threat that is causing all of the trouble between the war of godzillas and kongs

Theory:the Kong villain is a surviving species of the Kong race and I think in the movie when he meets Kong and realize that there the only ones left of the Kong race and when the Kong villain figures out that there is still one more member of the Godzilla species he will try to kill Godzilla and Kong is going to team up with Godzilla to defeat the villain Kong.
