P.S. I love the way the strap looks with the mini-pochette which made me realize how functional having the two straps makes the bag as they can be swapped out on other bags. And I do like how the black strap adjusts with snaps.

Love your videos! This was a great review of the Boulogne. I ordered (and received) the same bag a few days ago. I was looking for confirmation and your video helps. I looked at every single bag of a similar size that could be worn as a crossbody and settled on this one. I was really drawn to the shape, the look and the versatile strap. I really do think it will be an often used bag. At first I thought I would leave the chain off but I quite like it on the bag. And it helps with pulling it off when getting in the car and such. I think it looks great on you. Agree with your fall-winter comment but it also looks great with your pink dress so gives me hope for all seasons. I would love to see your entire collection.

Yes keep the bag! We are like twins. :) I can’t put the bag down since I bought it and I have many other bags to use. I have the black combination as well. I also got that black bicolor mini Pochette too!!! So so fab! I think the middle strap setting is my favorite on the boulogne. It is perfect once you put your stuff it in and stands upright snd so easy to grab! Enjoy dear! ☺️👌🏻

I love the new Boulogne and was considering it as well, but had actually made up my mind to get he Odeon pm, which is very siminlar and also a fantastic bag. After watching your video I'm back to thinking about the Odeon... Anyway: The bag looks great on you (but any bag would look great on you). I think it's a very practical piece, that will last forever, and it has an understated retro chic that I find very appealing. And I loved the strap with the mini pochette! Is it the same strap that comes with the Favorite?

Thank you so much! 🥰 The Odeon is a gorgeous bag too - i love it’s broad leather strap (which would also look great on a Metis or a Speedy B if you have either of them) and it has the outside pocket which is so useful. It is such a practical bag and i think it offers more space than the Boulogne too. Yes the strap is almost the same - same snap closures and same leather, width and thickness - but the lengths you can adjust it to are slightly different and the Boulogne bag has a D ring on the strap - i suppose so you can ‘multi-pochettify’ it!! The Favourite has no D ring.

The chain on this bag has much better clips than the new Favorite! I like this a lot. I've been looking at it online but already have a Pallas BB, which is similar. The strap on this one is much more functional though, and I like the D ring to maybe hang a pair of sunglasses!

Great review and it looks amazing on you! Unfortunately it was underwhelming on me and I returned it even though it seems like a really functional every-day bag. I read LV was trying to adjust their pricing so that all countries were mostly equal, but it appears UK prices are still less than the US . Between that and the VAT refund (unbelievably rescinded this year), I've purchased most of of my LV and Chanel in England over many, many years. Would love to see a bag collection as some point!

Hi from Sweden! Love your videos and your style. Have just ordered Boulogne and am wondering a bit if the shoulder strap will suffice as a crossbody on me which is 179 cm long. How tall you are for yourself fits perfectly. Here in Sweden we have a cold climate and most of the time we have outerwear, which takes place when we carry crossbody bags, you know what I mean. I like the black treated because it is more worry free - although it does turn it into quite a dark (maybe less summertime bag) - but then again with the black leather it can go more easily into the evening in my opinion. Good luck with your decision! ☘️

Wow such different bags! The Pochette Metis is a structured compartmentalised bag (there are three compartments) and i think it is an every day casual bag and mine, which is two years old, has stood up really well - it has had no glazing or cracking issues to date but this bag can have those issues. I think it is a really great cross body bag - better than the Boulogne in my opinion if you like cross body. The Boulogne is less structured and consists of only one compartment. It is a great shoulder bag in my opinion and looks less good cross body. But with its gold chain it is a little more flexible in looks and can go from day to evening. If you remove the black strap you can even carry it as a clutch with the chain dangling - looks really pretty. There is no substitute to trying them on though if you have the opportunity to help you decide. Good luck with your decision!☘️☘️☘️
